Guild Wars 2 Item Upgrade

The stats of an item upgrades can be improved by upgrading it, also referred to as "upping". Each upgrade increment provides an increase in linearity of the stats of a particular.

The majority of upgrade components that are inserted into items can't be removed or replaced without dismantling them, with the exception of legendary equipment and upgrades. If you have a rune or glyph you do not want to use, but it hasn't been applied to gear yet, you can move the item to a different piece by using the Upgrade Glyphs menu within the Glyphs Panel. This will create an Glyph Set that includes the chosen glyph.

If you want to remove a glyph from a piece of you must salvage it with an Black Lion Salvage Kit or Ascended Salvage Tool. Reroll tokens
