WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades provide a guaranteed boost to certain stats. Each upgrade increases item level by +3. A random extra substat is also boosted alongside each upgrade.

Upgraded gear is generally more valuable, unless it has a low requirement by nature (like FB sorc shields) or a high stat variance (like eth Titan weapons). Upgrades are less important for those with higher variance due to the requirement to roll a perfect version.

Recycle Points

The item upgrader allows players to upgrade their gear by giving the currency to an NPC. Upgrades can be made on any type of armor or weapons. However, the item used for the upgrade will remain in use for a long time and can't be used again. Upgrades can be used to create Enchantments.

You can upgrade your equipment at any time by visiting the upgrader in any major city. It is recommended to visit the upgrader at least once every couple of weeks to ensure that your equipment is up to date.

The cost of upgrading will be based on the current item level of the equipment being upgraded however, they will always be cheaper than purchasing new equipment from other sources. Upgrades like upgrading a Benthic chest up to ilvl385 will cost you 20 recycle points. A similar item will cost you 105.

Valorstones

Upgrades are items that can be used to improve the quality of weapons, tools, armor, and accessories. They are purchased by players from item upgrader NPCs in exchange for a variety of currencies, and can be found in random treasure lists. Once purchased, an upgrade is able to be used on any weapon, tool or armor. The button will display the item's next level of upgrade, if there are enough materials.

The cost of upgrades varies based on the item upgrader mod slot and current item level Upgrade level as well as the level of the weapon, which is more than bracers or gloves, for example. Each step costs 15 Flightstones and a variety of crests, with certain upgrades having a discount to reduce the cost of the Flightstones or crests used. Once an Best item upgrader is upgraded to a certain level, it can be downgraded and sold to the upgrader for a lower price.

This change lets players upgrade their gear to the highest possible ilvl for all their characters instead of relying on seasonal loot.

Another significant change is that crests only have one use and it's crucial to use them properly. It's Best item upgrader to use your Whelpling-rank Crests on the top-quality equipment that you can find, and save Drake and Wyrm Crests to be used for the next set of upgrades. This is particularly true for items like trinkets and rings that occupy multiple slots on the character, which can only be eligible to avail the account-wide discount when all of the slots are filled with high-quality gear.
