1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro

The gloss black and gunmetal Omni S1 Pro from Eufy is among the most impressive robot vacuums and mop combinations available. It makes use of lidar to navigate making maps of floors and rooms.

The docking station on the S1 automatically emptys its trash bin and replenishes its water tank onboard with clean, ozonated waters prior to every mopping session. The dock also adds a cleaning solution into the water to ensure deep cleaning. The S1 water tank can be able to accommodate 12 cleaning sessions, but this will vary depending on the frequency you use the mop.

The S1 requires periodic maintenance, just like any other 2-in-1 robots. To do this, you'll need to wash the water tank that is dirty regularly to keep it from becoming clogged. You will also need to clean your sensors and swivel wheel regularly to avoid them becoming clogged up with dirt or dust. Overall the S1 is simple to maintain, especially compared to other combinations that require more care.

Its navigation capabilities are pretty solid as well, though it is sometimes hung up on the small carpets or area mats that I have in my home (which is something you can mitigate by creating a virtual border in the app). Its mopping capabilities are also very good and include a pair of mops which are able to lift and scrub floors, rather than just dragging the pad across it. The mops are also cleaned with heated water and dried in the base station when required. Mops can also be filled at the top of the station as needed.

3. Dreame X40 ultra

Dreame's X30 Ultra robot vacuum and mop was launched earlier this year. But their new flagship model is packed with impressive features. It boasts fantastic cleaning results and hands-free maintenance making it a top contender for our top robot vacuum and mop list. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart recognition and a long side brush will give you a thorough, custom-designed clean.

The X40 Ultra does an excellent job of vacuuming, removing large and fine particles from both hard floors and carpets. It also cleaned our tests' most filthy areas well, and avoiding tangled pet hairs and other messes. The sweeping capability of the machine is enhanced by a sidebrush that moves out to reach hard-to-reach areas, and robot vacuum and mop a mop pad that extends across baseboards.

Its navigation is intelligent it can navigate through narrow spaces and negotiating stairways without missing a step. It can easily move from one room to another without changing direction, which is a handy feature for homes with multiple rooms. Its obstacle avoidance system is less advanced than some competitors, however, and tends to leave a wide space around obstacles, which can result in missed spots.

The Q5 is among the few robots we tested that didn't have any problems with carpets with high piles or area rugs, but it couldn't pick up cables or kitty litter, which is no surprise since it does not include AI-powered obstacle avoidance.

K10 Plus is one of the quietest robot vacuums we've tested. It also has a unique method to map your home. This allows it to get into places that other vacuums can't reach.
