It's efficient and does an outstanding job cleaning my two-bedroom apartment. It can vacuum carpeted rooms fast, and hardwood floors in the kitchen, living room, and hallways with just one pass. Its 8,000pa motor is able to pick up dirt as well as pet hair and poop effortlessly. Carpet detection boosts power automatically when it comes in contact with carpets and the dual side brushes help to tease out debris from corners.

The Yiko X1 Omni

The X1 Omni robot vacuum is the most expensive of our review. However, it has certain unique features that are worth a look. The X1 Omni's most appealing feature is its huge dock, which serves as the robot's charging base and the housing for two 4-liter water tanks, a sink for cleaning as well as an automatic 2.5-liter dust bin that is automatically eliminates.

The base also has a variety of control buttons that allow you to start cleaning, recall the robot, automatic vacuum cleaner or use the dock's best automatic vacuum emptying process. Hold down two buttons to toggle the child lock. This is a nice feature for parents worried about their kids messing around with the vacuum.

While this was rare, it was a frustrating experience when it happened and especially because the X1 Omni does not come with an "stuck" status alert on its app.

The X1 Omni is unable to automatically switch between mopping and vacuuming mode during the cleaning process. You'll have to manually swap between the two, which isn't a big deal apart from the fact that the mopping pads aren't washed and dried between uses and can cause mildew or mold.

The X1 Omni looks great, thanks to the Jacob Jensen design team (of Bang & Olufsen fame) who designed the sleek, modern base and mopping pad. It's a significant departure from the utilitarian all-black bases of rivals such as Roborock or iRobot. And it's a welcome sight for an industry dominated by boxy models.
