It also comes with an automatic mop lifting system which will lift the pad when it transitions from tile to laminate or hardwood to carpets and rugs to prevent getting soaked by these soft surfaces.

The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing and self-drying capabilities. The pad can be rinsing and then drying within the dock. The dust bin will automatically empty and return to the dock. This means you can just set it and forget it, only needing to change the dust bag or refill the water tank on occasion.

This is all powered by a lithium-ion battery of 5,200mAh. I tested it with its normal vac and mop settings for around 160 minutes before the S8 Pro Ultra started to get power hungry and return to its base to recharge. This is within the range of the 180 minutes Roborock claims and is in line with other hybrids I've tried.

It's a robust and well-rounded product with the only downside being that it's pricey. The number of features make it an appealing choice for anyone looking to replace their old stick vacuums and mops. We would highly recommend this vacuum for those who can afford its price.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a premium combination. The high price is justified by the powerful features, including a large vacuuming capacity and two mop heads that gyrate. It comes with an app-enabled smart control system and an advanced obstacle-avoidance system.

The L10S Ultra has a retail price of 999 euros, which is among the most powerful robotic vacuums and mop combos on the market. In my testing it performed very well in all areas of the home, taking out 98.4% of debris on all types of floors and able to lift hair that is long without getting caught in. The mops also performed well and produced excellent results for cleaning with less effort than mid-range models. This was due to their rotational motion and an effective dose of cleaning solution.

However, the L10S Ultra's most significant selling point is its innovative multi-functional docking station. The dock emptys its dust bin into dirt bag, fills its water tank for mopping and dries its mop pads for you. It has a real-time hazards detection system, and its intelligent controls let you schedule regular cleaning sessions.

Unlike the other hybrid vacuum mops I've tested The L10S Ultra doesn't offer advanced debris pickup performance on carpets. The mops on the L10S Ultra aren't as effective in removing stubborn stains as the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.

Despite the L10S Ultra's top-of-the-line features, it still requires regular maintenance. To prevent mildew or unpleasant smells, the base station dustbag, water and tanks must be cleaned, emptied and dried regularly. It is also important to keep in mind that the mop pads, which are bought separately must be replaced periodically too.

I would recommend the L10S Ultra to anyone with the budget. If you're on a budget I suggest a more basic model that will allow you to save money and enjoy hands-free cleaning at your home. It's important to note that even if the L10S Ultra is the best rated robot vacuum mop and robotic vacuum you can buy but its high price and ongoing maintenance will ultimately make it more of a want rather than a requirement.

The S1 Pro then discharges the mop water that is dirty into its base station where it is sucked up by the tank's heating elements before being is poured into a larger storage canister. The tank onboard can hold a substantial amount of water, and best robotic mop and vacuum can handle up to half a dozen mopping sessions before rushing out.

Like most robotic vacuums and mop sets like the S1 Pro is ready to take it out of the box. It does need to be filled with clean water, but this is easy to do in the cleaning dock. As with most robots like it, the S1 Pro did well in navigation efficiency and coverage evaluations. It was quick to map a space and moved around furniture. The only issue is that it got stuck a couple of times on larger pile carpets and rugs during my testing, but this may be improved as the software is updated. The S1 Pro is an all-in-one robot that provides a lot of functionality at affordable prices.

4. Roborock Qrevo

The Qrevo is Roborock's basic mop and vacuum. However, it still has some amazing features. The multi-function dock emptys the robot's dirtbag and replenishes its water tanks, as well as washing and sanitizing the mop pads as it goes. The mopping system can be able to clean a large area prior to returning to its dock. The vacuum's suction power is great for picking up pet hair and debris on carpets.

The app that runs this appliance is complex, with a broad choice of options for customizing the cleaning process. You can set it up manually to start the full map and then take care to clean everything that is mapped by the device, or you can choose individual rooms, expandable zones, or even a schedule you've crafted. The Reactive Tech hazard avoidance system works fairly well, too although it's not as advanced as the color camera system found on the Qrevo Master or the S8 Pro Ultra. It is able to detect dangers like carpets that are thick, but it might not be able to identify smaller objects like rug tassels and electrical wires.

The one glaring flaw of this device is the absence of a mop after vacuum option that could be an issue for those who do a lot of vacuuming before cleaning their robot cleaner with mop. There's a simple solution to this issue: the app has an option that lets you "clean up", at the end of each vacuuming session.
