Like many robovacs Yeedi Cube requires a little bit of work to get started, including setting up an account with the official app of the manufacturer and connecting it to your WiFi network. After that, however the robot can begin vacuuming and mopping with ease.

It's important to note that mapping takes some time and may take a few times before the Yeedi Cube has an accurate image of your space. The object detection is an issue that is hit-and-miss. It was able to skirt around furniture and other obstacles but it was stuck on a looser rug with tassels that it required a flip to release itself. But these are minor flaws, and the Yeedi Cube is still a great option for those who want an all-in-one cleaner.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete

The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete is a three-in-one home cleaning solution. Its advanced mopping uses a rotating motion that is similar to hand scrubbers. This means that floors are cleaned and not just cleaned. And its detachable stick vacuum is a game-changer that allows you to reach areas that a robotic vacuum can't.

This model is nearly identical to the popular X2 Omni but with a slightly higher suction power of 8,700Pa and a few additional features that are smart. The upgraded RGBD sensor can learn your home's surroundings better and provide dynamic obstacle avoidance. And the smart app lets you customize various settings that include scheduling, AI cleanings, and setting virtual boundaries.

The X2 Combo also has self-preparation. Both the robot vacuum and mop return to their charging station at the end of each task to clean their pads and empty the dust bins and place the debris into the self-sealing bag. This helps to keep the system tidy and stops allergens from recirculating. The battery life is long enough to clean large areas without requiring the battery to be charged mid-clean.

4. Eufy S1 Pro

As one of the more expensive robot vacuum and mop models that are available, the Eufy S1 Pro offers impressive features for the money. It is equipped with powerful 8,000 Pa suction, a rotary floor brush for carpets and a great obstacle avoidance. It also has an innovative mopping technique which uses a rolling device that is continuously spraying with water to collect dirt and deposit it in the water tank.

Its navigation system performed well. It avoided steps and walked close to walls without crashing. However, it had trouble with fine-grained debris and wasn't always able to remove raised thresholds in rooms. The operating level of the sound is also high, so this model may not be as easy to set and forget as others.

Like many robotic vacuums and mops the S1 Pro comes with a docking station that can refill its clean water and empty its dust bin and mop pad, and wash and dry its mop. This makes maintenance simple and allows the S1 Pro spend more time cleaning floors in line with a regular schedule. You can control all its functions using the Eufy app, which gives an overview of the system and plenty of configurability.

5. Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum/mower is among the top mowers and vacuums on the market. It offers impressive vacuuming and mopping results. Its LIDAR mapping sensor can detect furniture legs and other obstacles with decent accuracy, and the app allows users to fine-tune map coverage, set no-go zones, and modify cleaning preferences. The main roller brush is also designed to stop hair from wrapping around it, which is a major issue with many robotic vacuums.

The Mop Mode also impresses, with Reuleaux triangular mop heads that spin at 180 RPM while applying upward pressure of up to 12N. The mopping system is equipped with intelligent carpet detectors that lift these pads up when they are near soft surfaces to keep them from getting contaminated.

The docking station functions as a hands-free maintenance centre that automatically washes and dries the mops and refills them with detergent and distillate water. The base station also features integrated dust processing that compacts dust for seven weeks of hassle-free operation unlike conventional robot vacuums that empty their dust bins every time they have to be empty.

6. S10

A few hundred dollars more than the S8 This robot does a bang-up job at keeping my home office spotless and also tackle the corners of my tight apartment. It makes use of laser mapping and a camera to build an image of your home, so it knows where to stay away from. In addition, unlike other vacuums with mopping capabilities it also has detection of objects and obstructions that avoids items such as bowls and dog toys (but not poop!).

It also has some outstanding notable features, like an automatic emptying dustbin and a mop pad that's self-washing and adjustable to the temperature of the water and a side-reaching sweeper brush that can get to places that other mops don't. You can also alter the settings for each room and set up cleaning schedules.

It features the same multi-room smart mapping feature as the S8 and can distinguish between laminate and carpets with high-pile rug. It also lets you skip cleaning rooms that aren't dirty if you're looking to save time. It's a great option for those who have a variety of flooring in your home and Best Robot Vacuum Cleaner and Mop aren't looking to spend the extra money on the Roborock with advanced mapping features.

7. Q5 Pro

If you're looking to find a multi-functional robot vacuum and mop that can manage regular maintenance as well as touch-ups to wet messes, this robot is a great option. It comes with a variety of features, including the ability to empty the dustbin on its own, a separate water refill dock, as well as adjustable settings in the app. It's extremely quiet and is able to easily move around furniture legs or socks. However, it can't pick up the tangled tassels of rugs, and its battery drains slightly faster than other models we tested in our tests.

The Q5 Pro, with a price of less than $250, is a powerful unit that comes with a powerful suction and convenient automation in a sleek design. It didn't perform as well as the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra in our vacuuming tests, but overall it did well. It comes with a variety of cleaning modes, ranging from the quiet mode with low power for light debris to the powerful Turbo mode for carpeted areas. It also has the capability to automatically remove and replace its mop pads, without getting your carpets wet.

8. K10 Plus

The K10 Plus is a great mop and robot vacuum for those who live in cramped spaces. It's quiet and quick, and it does a great job of navigating tight spots. It also does a good job of removing pet hair out of carpeting.

It's smaller than its rivals however, it doesn't compromise any features. It has a good amount of suction power and it is able to take a picture of every object it comes across (i.e. chew toys,, socks) and mark them as 'not found' in the app so that they won't be taken up in subsequent cleanings. The photos are secured and aren't linked to your account.

It's great for vacuuming, but not as well in mopping. It makes use of disposable wet wipes that you clip onto the bot's bottom, and then it drags them around your floor. Compare this to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra or Narwhal which have water reservoirs, and automatically wash and attach their mopheads.
