1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro

The gunmetal and gloss black Omni S1 Pro from Eufy is one of most impressive robot vacuums and mop combinations available. It uses lidar for navigation, creating maps of rooms and floors.

When I tried the S1, it was able to identify our downstairs, which has laminate flooring in the kitchen, dining room and bathrooms, as well as carpeting of medium-pile as well as a large area rug. It easily drove close to walls without hitting them and even managed to cross thresholds that were raised in the room without problem, but it sometimes struggled to get down the stairs in one pass. The S1 also did a great job cleaning hard floors by dragging its mop smoothly on the flat side against the floor, and then lifting itself when it reached carpet or carpet.

Prior to each mopping session the docking station of the S1 automatically emptys its dust bin and refills its water tank with clean filtered ozonated water. Its mopping is quite excellent, too, with a pair of spin mop pads that actually lift and scrub floors, as opposed to simply dragging the pad across it. The mops are cleaned using heated water and dried in the base station as needed. The mops can also be filled at the top of the station when required.

3. Dreame X40 ultra

Dreame's X30 Ultra robot vacuum and mop was released earlier this year. However, their latest flagship model is packed with impressive features. It has fantastic cleaning results and is easy to maintain. This makes it a top contender on our list of the top robot vacuums and mop. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart recognition and a long side brush will give you a thorough, custom-designed clean.

The X40 Ultra vacuums well, removing both fine and large debris. It is equally effective on hard floors and carpets. It cleaned the dirtiest places of our tests efficiently while avoiding pet hairs and other dirt. The sweeping capabilities are augmented by a side brush that swings out to tackle hard-to-reach corners, and an extendable mop pad that deploys alongside baseboards.

Its navigation system is intelligent, navigating tight spaces and climbing stairs without missing a beat. It is able to move from one room to another without having to change direction. This is a great feature for homes with a lot of rooms. Its obstacle avoidance system is less advanced than some competitors, and leaves a huge space over obstacles. This can lead to miss-hit spots.

It has a suction power of 5500Pa, and an automatic empty system, so you don't have to empty the bin manually each time. It also comes with a smart application that lets you choose your floor type and schedule cleanings, and an automatic hoover water tank refill and wash system that allows hands-free operation.

Its mops are also awe-inspiring, with 2700Pa of power to tackle dirt, dust, and pet hair on carpets and hard floors. The Q5 is one of the few robots we tested that didn't have any issues with high-pile carpets or area carpets, but it didn't pick up cables or kitty litter that's not a surprise since it does not include AI-powered obstacle avoidance.

5. K10 Plus

K10 Plus is one of the quietest robot vacuums we have tested, it also utilizes a unique system to map your home, which really helps it get into corners and tight spaces that other vacuums can't reach. The device also stores dust in a larger bin which means you have to empty it less often. Additionally, it has washable filters which further reduces the expenses associated with using the device.
