What is an Item Upgrader in Pokemon Go?

The item upgrader adds a new widget to the top of the Angel and Cash Upgrade windows. This Manager costs 33 billion Angel Investors and offers no benefits to gameplay other than making it easier to view and buy upgrades.

When an item is upgraded its base type changes. When upgrading a normal item, it creates an Exceptional item level upgrade while upgrading an Exceptional item will result in an elite version of the same base item. The item will retain the stats it had prior to upgrading, and will also receive an additional bonus from its new base type. The bonus will be randomly selected from the following options: the chance to acquire a weapon with an increased damage range, a chance to obtain an increased reload speed or the chance to obtain an improved defense roll.

The amount of extras gained by upgrading is contingent on the number of upgrades completed. Each upgrade will boost the extras by a maximum of 3 points. In addition, each upgrade items will also boost the main stat by +1.

Some upgrades also provide a secondary random boost in addition to stat boosts. These secondary boosts can be very valuable and should be considered when deciding which items to upgrade. Some boosts are useful in specific builds (such as Whistan's shield in FB sorcs) while others can bring an enormous amount of value to specific collectors.

Some items have a built-in boos which is less effective when upgraded. For instance the Goldwrap provides extra potion slot. These are often upp'd to increase the value of a perfect or near-perfect item.

Costs

There are a few expenses that are associated with upgrades to items. The first is the cost of performing the upgrade. This cost can be expensive and depends on the new ilvl of the item and the number of perks it gets. Upgrades to a higher level (such as Explorer to Champion or Veteran to Heroic) can be costly.

The second is the cost of the materials required to upgrade. The items used for upgrades are usually either Power Dices (dropped by monsters 21and over) or Minerals and Erons (obtainable by completing certain Mists of Pandaria or Warlords of Draenor quests). These items can be found in the inventory of an Upgrade Vendor.

Upgrading an item is complicated and requires time. Depending on the size of the upgrade, it can take as long as 8 hours. The upgraded item's base stats are calculated by using the item's new ilvl bonus, perks, as well as other properties. This calculation determines the new Armor Class bonus, damage dice, and other important statistics. In certain cases, the upgrade will grant additional perks that can be selected from a list of available benefits.

In rare cases the upgrade will replace only the highest-costing bonuses. Occasionally, the upgrader will make other adjustments to an item, like changing its weapon damage type or or removing an unwieldy or operative property. The cost for these changes is based on the item's current ilvl and it may require a special material like the adamantine alloy.

Success Rate

The upgrading of an item is dependent on chance. Like any random system, there is a possibility that it will not succeed. There are a few ways to increase the chances of success. This includes using an Upgrade Pity or the addition extra materials to your upgrade.

The Upgrade Pity can be bought through the NPC for the smithing process in Lost Ark. It increases the chance of an upgrade item succeeding by a certain percentage. It is similar to the "luck bonus" that certain items provide, but it is more secure. It can be added to any armor or weapon and is able to be used up to three times.

You can also add additional components to the upgrade to increase the chances of success. These materials are displayed in a window located above the + button. There are however limitations to this, and the maximum amount of material that can be added is shown just above the + button in the user interface.

A Blacksmith Blessing, or an upgraded version can be used to increase the likelihood of an upgrade succeeding. This item is useful when you own an Best item upgrader of equipment that is at the highest level for its tier or is close to it. This item will allow you upgrade the equipment to the next tier without risking its breaking.

If an upgrade is unsuccessful, the system will be returned to its original state. This is typically an error, but it can also be a downgrade. Save an upgrade until you reach the maximum level of an item.

Kafra has a number of products that can be used in order to increase the chances of an upgrade being successful. You can boost your chances of success by upgrading your equipment multiple times with HD Oridecon and HD Elunium. The rate of success will be enhanced if you boost the chance of getting a Double Mint by Shoe-Minting five times.

Failure Rate

The upgrader for items allows players to add an additional slot to their equipment. These slots can be utilized to upgrade an item or apply an enhancement. It is important to note that not all items are upgradeable. The rank of an item will determine the rate at which it can be upgraded and enchanted. The higher the rank of the item level upgrade is, the more Zeny items are required to upgrade it.

Normal Upgrade is a basic upgrade that can be used on armor, weapons and bikes. It uses different grades of core depending on the type of item. In general, lower-grade items require lower-cost cores whereas higher grade ones require more expensive ones.

You must have the correct number of cores before you can perform an upgrade. Once you have them then click the button next to the item that you want to upgrade. The upgrade window will then show a percentage indicator of your chances of success. This percentage is based on the level of upgrade for the item and the core kind you have selected.

You can also opt for a safeguard that will protect your equipment in the event of failure. The cost of this protection will vary however it will always be less expensive than the cost of buying a new item. The safeguard can only be used one time per upgrade and will not expire until it is used again.

The UI for the item upgrader may be a bit confusing, but it's not difficult to navigate. The main menu appears on the left and the upgrade window is on the right. The arrows on the left of the UI indicate the various steps in the upgrade process. If you are not sure what you're doing, you can hit the question mark to seek assistance. The upgrade process can take up to five minutes.
