The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a great choice if you're looking for a mid-priced robot vacuum and mop. It gives a great mopping experience, but doesn't have the advanced features of its more expensive sibling.

During testing it was able to handle dry oats and dust on medium-pile carpet as well as pet hair on hard flooring. But, unlike cheaper models, it doesn't use LIDAR to map out your home.

1. iRobot Roomba S9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum with docking station vacuum is one of the best-rated robots. It is a powerful cleaner and plenty of features such as a self-emptying dirt compartment built into its charging base. This robot can recognize your habits for cleaning and suggest automated schedules to provide you with a truly hands-free cleaning experience.

It's easy to set up thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the procedure. Once the system is in place, you can start automated cleaning with a single button. You can choose a general clean that prioritizes the removal of large debris such as rice and cereal, or opt for two thorough mappings of your area to ensure that your entire home gets a proper look.

This robot vacuum is effective on floors that are unfinished and carpets with low pile. It is able to pick up pet hair and clean large objects up. It doesn't lose suction as quickly as other robot vacuums. It has a difficult time with plush or high-pile carpets however iRobot says that future models will be more efficient.

The S9+ is a new design from iRobot that focuses on enhancing edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba that has an open-fronted, flat-fronted design. The company hopes this will allow it to be able to hug furniture and walls. It's a nice improvement over the hockey puck-like design of most robovacs, though we found it to be marginally better than circular models.

iRobot also claims that the S9+ has a superior filtering system that stops tiny dust particles and allergens from circulating throughout your home. It's a nice claim however, we're not convinced that it's enough to justify the premium price cost.

Its intelligent navigation system makes use of sensors to keep track of the layout of your home and vSLAM to map your interior of your home. It can then clean your entire home efficiently by avoiding obstacles like stairs and other obstacles. The iRobot Home app lets you manage the robot and plan cleaning times, as well as set up virtual boundaries, so it can recognize areas that require extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

Roborock Q Revo is a robot that combines mopping and vacuuming. Its vacuum settings are just as good as those on higher-end models. And its mopping system is better as its spinning pads scrub floors more effectively than an ordinary pad that vibrates.

The only issue is that it doesn't have an additional rubber brush to allow for deeper cleaning, but it's an affordable cost to pay if want one of the best robots on the market. The dust tank of the robo-vac is larger than many of its competitors, and filling it up only takes two or three times, even when you have maximum dirt.

In terms of the mopping system, I was impressed by its ability to scrub hard dirt off my floors. The two lowest mopping settings which are less powerful than high-powered modes, produce very minimal noise, meaning you can work or watch TV without being distracted. It will gently bump into furniture or walls, and then move on whenever it comes across one.

The Q Revo is unique in that it operates almost completely on its own, with no user involvement. The robo-vac has a multifunction dock that can automatically transfer physical trash into the bin hidden from view, as well as washes and dry mop pads and replenishes its clean water tank. The app is adept at notifying you when something is in need of attention, like the water tank being empty or a scheduled cleaning session that was cancelled due to a full dust bin.

You can also design and merge rooms to modify the way that Q Revo manages your home. This feature is helpful when you have different flooring in different areas of your home, or in the event that you have to regularly get rid of clutter like clothes, toys and books. The robot vacuum was also among the top performers in my test and was able to remove debris from both carpets as well as hardwood floors in the first attempt. It is able to vacuum up wet spills. I recommend drying the area with a towel prior to sending it to.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum combo that has all the features you could want. It has an omni-rotating mop as well as a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets and hard floors. It is similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also has self-cleaning bases that automatically empty and cleans the mop pads, keeping them free of germs and ready to use again. It also comes with a brand new sensor system that can better recognizes obstacles, giving it the ability to prevent falling over furniture and other objects.

The most significant improvement over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that this version has a sleeker, more modern design thanks to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best shark robot vacuum for pet hair known for its Bang & Olufsen products). Although it's still quite large--it's more than two feet high and deep and weighs almost four pounds--the entire robot and its base are less bulky than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot J7.

This version is more efficient than the X1 as it charges faster and can clean 1,500 square feet in one charge. It also has a larger and more robust dustbin that can store more debris. This makes it easier to empty.

Finally it is worth noting that the X2 Omni has a more intuitive app and a voice assistant that works offline, allowing you to use it even if you're not home. It also comes with more mopping modes and an intelligent routing feature which allows it to clean specific rooms or areas of your home instead of simply following a predetermined path.

The X2 Omni is the best mopping robot. Its mop pads that rotate remove tough stains and its motor produces plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is excellent, and Best Robot Vacuum and Mop it increases suction when it detects a carpet to ensure a thorough cleaning. It also has a large battery that can last for weeks between charges and its mopping mode is as powerful as anything we've seen in the market for a consumer robot.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a premium mop and robot vacuum that comes with a host of convenience features that you don't often see on robots at this price range. It is able to create detailed floor maps and identify various flooring types. It's also among the few robots that can automatically clean and dry its mop pad. These features are nice, but they also push the L10s into the luxury category. This might make it more expensive than what homeowners want.

Designed to look like a modern floor cleaner designed to look like a modern floor cleaner, the L10s Ultra is a tall and slim machine with an elegant white finish enhanced by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is dominated by a huge bumper, which protects the vacuum and furniture from damage when moving through the house. Behind the pane at the front is a second navigation technology that is comprised of sensors that aid the L10s Ultra navigate around tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top, you'll find a single button that essentially acts as an on/off switch. This button will activate the vacuum. If you click it again, it will turn it off and send it back to its base station. The circular menu in the middle of the control panel allows users to select cleaning options, schedules and preferences. The left and right buttons on the screen will open up the app's settings menu where you can alter the way that the L10s Ultra integrates with your home.

Like the iRobot Roomba S9+ and Roborock Q Revo, the L10s Ultra uses a combination of LIDAR and camera-based navigation technologies to map out your home. This allows the robot to vacuum and mop effectively without getting stuck. The LIDAR also helps the robot vacuum detect and avoid obstacles, which is a nice feature for families with children or pets.

The L10s Ultra provides solid vacuuming performance which clears 98.4 percent of the debris from our test on the hard floor and getting rid of all but the most difficult juice stain. The mops are also efficient, taking away 98.4 percent of the debris that was found on our tile, wood, and carpet tests. However, it wasn't as effective in removing sand from the hard floor and the quaker oats that are on carpet.
