Remove the Door

Installing an interior set of bifold doors could seem like a complex and challenging task but it's actually simple for anyone with a bit of experience. The frame isn't the issue however, getting the doors to close and fold smoothly is. It is likely that you will need to apply a little force to take the guide off, but be careful not to break or chip the foot. After you have removed the guide, you must remove any remaining epoxy or threads in the area where it was attached. This will help avoid future problems with the guide.

After removing the previous guide, test your replacement by putting it in its new location. Apply a few rotations with masking tape or guide tubing in order to secure it in its place. This will let you double check the guide spacing and alignment to make sure that everything is properly set up. If the guide is placed properly and functions in the way it should the next step will be to reinstall the door in place. Make sure to replace and tighten any screws or pins you removed or loosened.

Take the Bottom Pivot off.

Replace the Roller
