1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro

Eufy's gunmetal-and-gloss black Omni S1 Pro is one of the most impressive robot vacuum and mop combinations on the market. It uses lidar to navigate and create maps of floors and rooms (even multiple levels) and integrates with the free Eufy Clean app that lets you set up schedules and modify the S1's behaviour.

The S1 was capable of mapping my downstairs quickly, which includes linoleum flooring in the dining area, kitchen and bathrooms and also a carpet in the middle and a large area. It was capable of driving close to walls and even cross thresholds that are raised without issue. However it had some issues navigating down the stairs in one pass. The S1 also did a fantastic job cleaning hard floors with its mop that moved smoothly on its flat side against the floor, and then lifting itself when it was near carpet or carpet.

Prior to each mopping session the docking station on the S1 automatically emptys its dust bin and fills up its water tank onboard with clean filtered ozonated water. The dock also includes a cleaning solution in the water for deep cleaning. The S1's water tank holds enough water for about a dozen cleaning sessions before needing to be cleaned, although it will differ based the amount you use the mop.

Like all 2-in-1 robots, the S1 requires regular maintenance to ensure it is operating well. For this, you'll need to rinse out the dirty water tank regularly to keep it from becoming clogged. Overall, the S1 requires less maintenance than other combos.

2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete

The mopping feature is pretty excellent, too, with two spinning mop pads that actually lift and scrub the floors instead of just dragging the pad over it. The mops can also be cleaned using heated water and dried in the base station whenever needed. The mops are also refilled at the top of the station when required.

3. Dreame X40 ultra

Dreame released the luxe X30 Ultra earlier this year and their new flagship robot vacuum and mop has even more impressive features. It boasts fantastic cleaning results and hands-free maintenance which makes it a strong contender on our top mop and robot vacuum list. Its superior mapping abilities, RGB AI smart detection and an extended side brush ensure an effective, customized cleaning is accomplished.

The X40 Ultra vacuums well, removing both fine and large debris. It is a great choice on carpets and hard floors. It also cleaned our test's most filthy areas well, and keeping pet hairs from getting caught in knots and other mess. The sweeping capabilities are augmented by a side brush that automatically extends to reach hard-to-reach corners, and an extendable mop pad that can be placed alongside baseboards.

Its navigation system is nimble, navigating narrow spaces and negotiating stairways without stepping back. It can go from one room to the next without having to change direction. This is useful for homes that have multiple rooms. Its obstacle avoidance is not as advanced than the ones of other competitors and leaves a large space over obstacles. This can lead to missed spots.

The app is streamlined user interface that is designed to be easy for both novice and experienced users. The app allows you to schedule and manage cleanings, alter mopping and suction power settings and view 3D and 2D maps, and much more. You can control it through the app, Alexa or Google Assistant. You can also remotely control the X40 Ultra camera for real-time monitoring. But, you'll need a stable Wi-Fi connection to operate it via the app as well as external controls.

4. Roomba Q5 pro

A robot vacuum does an excellent job of removing debris and dirt however, it's not able to be able to reach every bit of dust. This is why it's crucial to use your regular vacuum at least once every week, and especially to clean dust from corners, on shelves and in the corners of your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro is a 2-in-1 vacuum and mop designed to do exactly that. It's easy to connect to your home Wi-Fi network and works with Alexa and Apple Siri, making it an even more convenient addition to your cleaning routine.

The Q5 is a stripped-down version of the company's pricier S-series models, including the flagship Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra. It has the same LIDAR mapping sensors, however it's cheaper since it does not have mopping capabilities and comes with a plastic body.

Although it's no longer able to clean your floors, the Q5 still has some of the best mopping and vacuum performance we've seen from a robotic in this price range. It has a powerful suction of 5500Pa and an auto-empty system, so you don't have to empty the bin by hand each time. It also comes with a smart application that lets you choose your floor type and schedule cleanings. It also has an automatic vacuum cleaner and mop refill of the water tank and wash system to allow hands-free operation.

Its mops also impress with their 2700Pa power to combat pet hair and dirt, on both carpets and hard floors. The Q5 was one of the few robots that we tested that did not have problems with high-pile carpets and rugs. However, it could not remove kitty-poop or cable tangles. This isn't too surprising, since it does NOT have AI-powered obstacle-avoidance features.

5. K10 Plus

K10 Plus is one of the most quiet robovacs that we've tested. It also uses a unique system to map your home. This will allow it to enter corners and tight spaces that other vacuums cannot reach. The K10 Plus also is able to collect more dust in a larger bin, so you don't have to empty it as often. It also has washable filters which further reduces costs. The robot can recognize carpets, and increase suction when needed. You can also mark off areas you would like to be able to keep from using the app.
