The majority of robot vacuum-mop combinations can be customized using an app that can save maps of your home setting cleaning schedules, and select mopping modes. You can also adjust the suction power and the amount of water your mop consumes.

A mapping function can help your robot navigate through rooms. An obstacle avoidance feature helps it avoid running over furniture, wires or other toys. These are essential features to have in my house, filled with toys that are scattered about.

1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra

Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the top-of-the-line vacuum and mop, is packed with features. It's able to mop and sweep in a single session, and it can even lift its brushes and mop pads to stop soft surfaces from becoming too wet. It also can avoid obstacles by finding pet toys, plants, and other small objects.

The robotic vacuum's maximum suction power is 6 000 pascals. This is higher than any other robot vacuum we've test to date. It is also equipped with PreciSense LiDAR Navigation that tracks its location, preventing it from getting stuck on an object.

The S8 Pro Ultra's mopping capabilities are also impressive. It can continuously apply pressure to the pad of more than 6 Newtons to ensure a thorough cleaning. It also comes with an automatic mop lifting system, which will lift the pad when it goes from laminate to tile hardwood, carpets and rugs to prevent getting soaked by these soft surfaces.

The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing and self-drying capabilities. The pad is capable of rinsing and heat-drying within the dock. The dust bin will automatically empty before returning to the dock. This means that you can leave it in place and forget it, only needing to change the dust bag or refill the water tank every now and then.

All this is powered by a lithium-ion battery of 5,200mAh. I tested it with its normal vac and mop settings for around 160 minutes before the S8 Pro Ultra started to be power-deficient and return to its base to recharge. This is within the range of the 180 minutes Roborock claims, and is on par with other hybrids I've tested.

It's a robust, well-rounded product. The only issue is that it's costly. The number of features makes it a very attractive option for anyone looking to replace their old stick vacuums and mops. We highly recommend this vacuum when you can justify the cost.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra robot vacuum and mop is an expensive combination. The price is justified by the powerful features, which include a massive vacuuming capability and two mop heads that rotate. It also comes with an app-enabled smart control system and an advanced obstacle-avoidance system.

The L10S Ultra has a retail price of 999 Euros which is one of the most expensive robotic vacuum and mop combos on the market. In my tests, it performed well throughout the house. It was able to remove 98.4% debris on all types of floors and managed to lift hair that was long without getting caught up in. The mops also performed well and produced excellent cleaning results with less effort than mid-range models due to their rotational motion and the powerful cleaning solution.

The docking station is the main selling feature of the L10S Ultra. It's multifunctional and sophisticated. The docking station emptys the dustbin into a bag for dirt, refills the tank with water to use for mopping, and even dry mop pads. It is equipped with a real-time danger detection system, and its intelligent controls let you schedule periodic cleaning sessions.

Unlike the other hybrid vacuum mops I tried and Best Robotic Mop and Vacuum compared, the L10S Ultra doesn't offer advanced dirt pickup on carpets. The mops on the L10S Ultra are not as effective at removing stubborn stains as the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.

Despite the L10S Ultra’s high-end features, it requires regular maintenance. Its base station has to be cleaned as well as the water tank and dust bag should be cleaned, empty and dried regularly to avoid mildew and unpleasant odors. It is also important to note that the mop pads that are bought separately, will need to be replaced periodically too.

Given the L10S Ultra's premium pricing and its extensive features I would recommend it to anyone with the funds for it. If you're on a smaller budget, I would suggest an easier model that allows you to save money while enjoying clean hands at home. It's important to remember that even it's true that the L10S Ultra is the best robot vacuum cleaner and mop mop and robotic vacuum you can buy but its high price and ongoing maintenance will ultimately make it more of a want than a necessity.

3. Eufy S1 Pro

Eufy S1 Pro is the robot vacuum and mop you need to clean up messes and clean dirt off your floors. This powerful robovac and mop combo packs a strong 8,000 Pa of suction power and a huge battery capacity for mopping and vacuuming and a top-of-the-line obstacle avoidance. It comes with a roller-mop that cleans itself, making it stand out from models that require you to return to the base station to wash off the mop pad.

The S1 Pro uses a unique mopping system that is a significant difference from the microfibre pads and spinning discs of other robots. The roller is almost the entire length of the robot vacuum cleaner best and it is supplied with a continuous supply of fresh, ozonated filtered water from the dock. The roller scrubs the floor while soaking up dirt. Any dry debris is removed using the side brushes or Best Robotic Mop And Vacuum swept into the front bumper. The S1 Pro then discharges the mop water that is dirty into its base station where it is sucked up by the tank's heating elements, and then pumped into a larger storage bin. The onboard tank holds a decent amount of water, and can handle a half dozen mopping sessions before running dry.

The S1 Pro comes ready to use right out of the box as do most robotic vacuums/mops. It will need to be filled with clean water, but this is easy to do by cleaning the dock. If you'd like to make use of your own cleaner you can include a cleaning solution to dock. If you decide to select this option you'll have to purchase the cleaning solution from Eufy which is more expensive than other robot brands that allow you to use your personal cleaner of choice.

The S1 Pro performed well in the coverage and efficiency of navigation tests, just like the majority of robots. It was quick to map a area and moved around furniture. It got stuck on carpets with thick piles a couple of times during my tests. However this could be improved by re-updating the software. The S1 Pro is a very powerful robot that can be bought at an affordable price.

4. Roborock Qrevo

The Qrevo is Roborock's entry-level mop and vacuum. However, it still offers some impressive features. The dock's multi-function function is emptying the robot's dirtbag and refilling its water tanks, and cleaning and sanitizing the mop pads is performed by the dock. The mopping system itself is capable cleaning a large portion of a space before returning to its dock and the vacuum's powerful suction is capable of picking up debris and pet hair from carpets.

The application that runs this appliance is fairly dense, offering a wide variety of options to personalize the cleaning process. You can set it up manually to start a full map and clean of everything that the device maps, or you can choose individual rooms, expandable zones or even a routine that you've crafted. SmartPlan is one of the mopping options. It uses the sensors on the mops to map the area and determine the most efficient way to clean it.

Like all the Roborock models we've evaluated like all the Roborock models we've tested, the Qrevo performs well in our tests. Its navigation system is solid it can map rooms quickly and cleaning them in a neat manner. Its 'Normal' pathing setting is excellent at covering a space, with no major gaps or missing areas. The Reactive Tech hazard avoidance system is also quite effective, though it's not as advanced as the color camera system found on the Qrevo Master or the S8 Pro Ultra. It can detect dangers like thick carpets but it might not always recognize smaller things such as rug tassels or electrical wires.

The machine has a major issue: it doesn't offer a mop after vacuuming. This could be a problem for those who vacuum a lot before using their robot. Thankfully, there's an easy solution: the app offers the option to "clean up" at the end of every vacuuming session. This lets you use the auto vacuum and mop's mopping capability to get rid of the last traces of dust and debris that you've left behind from your vacuuming. This is a nice feature that helps this robot clean a little better than its less expensive competitors.
