The Roomba J7+, IRobot's most intelligent robot to date, is the Roomba J7+. The most significant innovation, however, is its camera-based obstacle-detection technology. This uses AI to identify objects like charging cords and shoes. It's the first robot to provide you with images of objects that it encounters, meaning you can instruct the robot to avoid it.

The Combo J7+ is the most efficient mop robot we've ever tested, picking up spills and dirt with ease and leaving no trace that it was there. The iRobot application makes it simple to control. It can schedule cleanings and even create Keep Out Zones to ensure that it doesn't clean in areas you don't wish to. And it's compatible with Alexa and Google Assistant, so you can start and stop it with your voice.

The design is also more appealing than the other models. It has an elegant, top robot vacuum piece that resembles an toy, not an obnoxious and loud robot. Clean Base's automatic vacuum Dirt removal System also self-empties, which will cut down your cleaning time.

In our tests, we found that the j7+ was quick to eliminated dirt, dust and hair from pets. The counter-rotating rubber brushes kept the debris in one location instead of scattering it all over the floor. It was able capture small pieces of gravel, sand, and even a tiny bit of grit. Most robots can't do this. And all this without getting tangled up in our pet's hair shed.

The j7+, while not as sophisticated as the Roomba S9, which costs $1,217and Self-Emptying Vacuum Robot from iRobot, and it isn't able to clean the stairs, it's a good option for those who require both mopping and vacuum. It's not costly and the iRobot App makes it easy to use.

The iRobot Home App is easy to use, however we found it less reliable as other robotic cleaner apps. It can take a long time to download updates, and at times it's difficult to know if the update is actually functioning until you've seen it in the action.

2. Roborock Q5+

If you want a robot vacuum price vacuum cleaner that does more than simply clean your floors, a hybrid is the best option. This kind of robot usually has a built-in water tank, robot vacuum deals meaning they can both mop and vacuum your home at the same time. They also come with a variety of additional features, such as smart robot vacuums mapping, small obstacle avoidance, and the ability to dry and wash mopping pads. The downside is that they can be expensive at retail, but during Black Friday and Cyber Monday they often drop in price.

Roborock has some of our favorite robot vacuums and the Q5+ is no exception. It's their most affordable auto-empty model, and although it doesn't have certain features found on higher-end models (like no-go zones and multi-story memory) it's a great option if you're willing sacrifice a little to save some hundred dollars.

The Q5+ is remarkably soft when it comes to obstacles such as walls and table legs. This makes it an ideal option for homes with lots of furniture. It's also extremely thorough when it comes to cleaning up dust bunnies, which is an area where many cheaper robot vacuums fail. The navigation technology in the Q5+ is superb as well, with only a few missing in corners and along walls.

The Q5+, as with other Roborock products can be controlled via a few buttons on the device, or via the Roborock App. The app lets you start and stop cleanings. You can also set schedules, design virtual barriers and no-go areas, adjust your home map, or re-label rooms.

If you decide to go with the Q5+ model, it ships with a new auto-empty dock specifically designed to make the robot simple to maintain. It requires a screwdriver for install, but once it's in place, emptying the bin is easy. It also comes with an impressive LCD display which is great to have when setting up schedules or altering settings. This isn't a necessity for the majority of people however it will help you keep track of your robot's maintenance intervals with ease.

3. Narwal Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra is a well-rounded robot vacuum and mop that's impressively clever in its mopping and vacuuming capabilities. Its design is among the best in the industry, but it's expensive.

It's a tiny base station that looks stunning and is able to be concealed when not in use. But the station's biggest selling feature is the way it automatizes various tasks and functions that other robots will leave to you. It can keep clean and dirty water, and then electrolyze and heat the water. Most other robovacs will require you to do this.

Its vacuuming performance is also impressive. It's one of the few robovacs I've tested that does a really good job of picking up debris on unfinished floors, and it's not nearly as loud as the more expensive Roomba 980 or iRobot the 900 series.

The Freo X Ultra is not free of faults, especially when it comes navigation. Its LiDAR sensors and laser sensors aren’t as reliable as other robot vacuums. This means that it is prone to getting stuck or confused in certain corners or rooms in the house. It's also not able to climb stairs like other models and isn't equipped with a dock to create a clean zone for plush carpets.

Although it doesn't have as many in terms of cleaning configuration options in its app, or as many in-app shortcuts as some other robovacs, the Freo X Ultra is still a top robot vacuum cleaner choice for those seeking a great all-round mop and robot vacuum that's worth the premium price cost.

If you're looking to save some cash, or just don't care about the limitations of this machine there are many alternatives available which include a variety of eufy models for substantially less. The eufy Qrevo Curv, for example, is cheaper and offers the same experience in the app, but with more features, including stair climbing, a full-function dock, and better overall vacuuming performance on bare floors as well as high and low-pile carpets.

4. Eufy RoboVac G30

Eufy, an Anker company, has a track record of producing robot vacuums that strike a good balance between performance, features and Robot Vacuum Deals price. The G30 Hybrid is no different and offers a powerful cleaning of hard floors and mopping functions as well as carpets at a reasonable price. It's simple to set up simply by snapping one of the side brushes on, switch it on and plug in the charging dock. The app will guide you through the steps required to connect your G30 to your Wi-Fi. The dock should be placed close to an outlet that has plenty of room to move.

The G30 is a compact device, measuring 2.85 inches in height, so it will be placed under most couches and low-clearance pieces of furniture. Its design is a little more modest than other models, with sleek black finishes and three buttons that are physical that control Auto Cleaning, which can be paused or started. Recharge and Spot Clean (which scrubs an area in an arc for two minutes). It is also possible to connect the G30 with Amazon Alexa or Google Home for voice commands to perform unscheduled cleaning.

The primary aspect that makes the G30 above the rest is the way it cleans. It uses a built-in mapping to create an image of non-movable objects that are in its path while retaining what it's cleaned and the areas it's not able to access. When it's time to recharge, it returns to its base and resumes cleaning from where it left off.

The eufy G30 has a few issues. The iRobot Roomba 675 is much better constructed, has lower recurring costs, is charged faster and has a similar battery life while offering superior performance on floors that are unfinished and carpets with a low pile. It comes with a larger dust bin that doesn't require the same amount of emptying. It also has boundaries that prevent it from certain areas. The G30 however is less expensive and much easier to maintain. Its smaller canister means it doesn't need to be emptied as often and has less difficulty handling bulky products such as cereal.
