Its mopping functionality is also impressive and features the S8 Pro Ultra able to apply a constant pressure of 6 Newtons to the mop pad for deep cleaning. It also comes with a mop lifter system that lifts the pad automatically when it changes between tile and laminate hardwood, carpet or rugs, to prevent soaking soft surfaces.

The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing, and self-drying features. The pad can be rinsing and then drying within the dock. The dust bin will automatically empty before returning to the dock. This means that you can set it and forget it, only having to replace the dust bag or refill the water tank every now and then.

All this is powered by a lithium-ion 5,200mAh battery. I tested it with its normal mop and vac settings for approximately 160 minutes before the S8 Pro Ultra started to be power-deficient and then return to its base for a recharge. This isn't too far from the 180 minutes that Roborock claims, and is on the same level as other hybrids I've tried.

It's a well-rounded, capable product. The only downside is that it's costly. Its sheer number of features makes it a very attractive option for anyone who is looking to replace their old stick vacuums and mops. We highly recommend this model if you can justify the cost.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The premium price is justified by its robust features, which include a massive vacuuming capacity and two mop heads that rotate. It also comes with an app-enabled smart controller and powerful obstacle-avoidance technology.

The L10S Ultra is one of the most expensive robotic vacuums and mop combos available at a recommended retail price of 999 euros. In my testing it performed well across all areas of the house, removing 98.4 percent of the debris on all floor types and managing to lift long hair without tangling. However, the L10S Ultra's main selling point is its innovative docking station that is multi-functional. The docking station emptys the trash bin into a bag that can be used for dirt, fills up the tank with water to use for mopping, and even dry mop pads. It has a real-time hazards detection system, and its sophisticated controls allow you to schedule regular cleaning sessions.

Unlike the other hybrid vacuum mops I test and compared, the L10S Ultra doesn't offer advanced debris removal on carpets. In addition it's not as adept at removing tough stains like those in the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra, which is the most expensive model. Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.

Despite the L10S Ultra’s high-end features it still requires regular maintenance. To prevent mildew or unpleasant odors, the base unit dustbag, water, and tanks must be cleaned regularly, emptied, and dried. The mop pads sold separately will require replacement every few months.

I would recommend the L10S Ultra to anyone with the funds. If you're on a tight budget I would suggest a less basic model that will allow you to save money and enjoy hands-free cleaning in your home. It's worth noting that even if the L10S Ultra is the best rated robot vacuum robot vacuum and mop you can find, its high purchase price and ongoing maintenance will ultimately make it more of a desire rather than a requirement.

3. Eufy S1 Pro

If you're in search of a robot vacuum and mop that will remove dust and dirt on your hard floors while taking care of wet mess, then take a look at the Eufy S1 Pro. Dry debris is swept away with the side brushes or swept up into the front collision bumper. The onboard tank is able to hold a large amount of water, and can handle up to half a dozen mopping session before running out.

Like most robot vacuums and mop combinations, the S1 Pro is ready to take it out of the box. The S1 Pro does need to be filled with clean water. This is easily done in the cleaning dock. If you'd like to use your own cleaner, you can add cleaning solution to dock. If you choose this feature however, you'll have to purchase the Eufy-branded cleaning solution, which is more costly than other robot brands that allow you to choose your preferred brand of cleaning products.

As with most robots like it, the S1 Pro did well in accuracy in navigation and coverage tests. It was fast to map a room, and it was able to navigate through furniture. It was stuck on carpets with longer piles a few times during my tests. However, this could be improved by updating the software. The S1 Pro is an all-in-one robot that has many functions at a an affordable price.

4. Roborock Qrevo

The Qrevo is Roborock's entry level mop and vacuum but it does have several impressive features. The dock's multifunction emptying the robot's dirtbag and refilling its water tanks and cleaning and sanitizing the mop pads is performed by the dock. The mopping system is capable of cleaning up a significant portion of an area before returning to its dock and the vacuum's high suction is capable of picking up debris and pet hair on carpets.

The software that runs the appliance is complex, and offers various options for customizing the cleaning process. You can choose to manually start a full map and take care to clean everything that is mapped by the device, or you can select individual rooms, expandable zones or even a routine that you've crafted. There are many mopping options which include SmartPlan -an algorithm that makes use of the sensors of the mops to find the most efficient method to tidy your home as it maps the area.

The Qrevo did well in our tests, just like all the Roborock models that we've tested. Its navigation system is solid, mapping rooms quickly and cleaning them in a systematic manner. The 'Normal" pathing settings cover the room thoroughly, without any major gaps or missed areas.
