The Roomba 694 from iRobot is an entry-level robot vacuum that performs well on both carpets with low pile and bare floors. It was able to maneuver the legs of chairs, small spaces as well as the base of an IKEA wooden step stool. It was slower on flooring that was not fully covered but it was able to recover speed and performed better than other robots we have tested.

The IQ is a better option than the iRobot Roomba 694 for most uses. It has a bigger dustbin and a longer battery lifespan and is more adept in navigating around obstacles. It also comes with a mopping attachment that can tackle sticky debris. The iRobot however, is better built and has less components that require maintenance or replacement and incurs fewer cost per year, and can create virtual no go zones with its companion application. It can continue cleaning from the point it started, even if the battery runs out before it has finished. The iRobot can be controlled by voice, which is a huge benefit for many users.

The eufy RoboVac 11S isn't the most feature-rich robot vacuum available, but it does offer powerful cleaning capabilities at an affordable price. It is then possible to manually steer the device around it and return it to working.
