It can also be used to make a tandem by incorporating a second seat kit. It is responsive and nimble and our test participants loved its sleek design. It's not as light as some of the other pushchairs on our list, but it offers an enormous shopping basket that is great for parents who carry bags full of groceries and toys.

Lightweight

Some parents prefer to secure their double buggy when they have a child and are expecting another and a convertible model is a great option. The iCandy Peach can be converted from a single pushchair double by the addition of a toddler's seat, or the brand's carrycot (which is great for sleeping at night). Our test subjects were impressed by how comfortable the seats are and loved the fact that they can recline in a variety of positions, come with built-in leg and foot support and have UPF 50+ canopy with peekaboo windows. The rear seat can be raised to provide an elevated platform for the older child to climb off and on to allow them to reach things in the basket of groceries.

Cher stated that the only disadvantage of the iCandy Peach was its weight. But she felt this was offset because it is easy to move and offers plenty of storage space with two cup holders for children and parents, seat-back pockets, and an enormous basket underneath the seat. Cher also liked that the seats can be reversed to be positioned to face each other, which is perfect for siblings who want to chat and have conversations when out and about.

The Delta Children LX Side-by-Side Stroller is a lighter option and still impressive. It weighs only 18 pounds, is compact, and has a self standing fold, making it simple to transport or store in your trunk. Parents are impressed by the quality of materials and workmanship, as well as the low cost. The only downsides are that the seats do not recline as much as other models we've tried and the rear seat is not as prominent because of its position as it is higher than the first seat.
