World of Warcraft Upgrades and Item Upgrading

Upgrades increase the value of certain numeric stats on weapons, armor and rings. Upgrades can also boost bonuses like crit chance and PvE Damage.

If the weapon's upgrade item template is in %, the weapon will be able to gain 3% of its previous damage every time it's upgraded.

The cost of upgrading an item is determined by the item's level. The cost increases with item's level.

Components

Upgrade components can be incorporated into trinkets, armor, and weapons in order to give them a stat boost or to add an additional effect. They can be acquired through crafting, purchasing from vendors trading, or looting. Certain upgrades also come with special cosmetic effects.

Upgrade components are only available to equipment with a slot. The item must be at least upgraded to blue before a component can be used. In contrast to other mods components can only be used one time; they cannot be applied repeatedly or replaced by new upgrades. Infusions and enrichments are a particular kind of upgrade component that is designed for non-amulet ascended and legendary equipment, as well as some of the non-ascended back items. Infusions and enrichments are recovered by salvaging ascended gear or by completing an elite mission in the Prophecies, Factions and Nightfall campaigns.

A prefix or suffix can be added to an upgrade, thereby changing the name of the item it's applied to (for example, 'Canthan Armor Insignia,' becomes Canthan Armor Minor Vigor). Some upgrades boost an item's Mark Level or Rarity, item upgrader kit allowing players create stronger versions of the equipment with fewer Upgrade Crystals than are required to achieve the same level of upgrade using normal methods.

A 'boost' upgrade can change the attack or defense attributes of the weapon or armor. These upgrades can be crafted from the Portative Forging Station once the player has completed the cutscene and defeats the Crazed mechanic. These upgrades are available for purchase them in the cash shop or getting them from enemies while upgrading other gear.

Each upgrade increases the likelihood that a higher-tier version of the item will be revealed at the next reset. This gives the player an incentive to continue upgrading their gear even if they're not sure of the extent to which it will increase after a future reset.

The process of upgrading an item can be costly, and it is possible that the item will become obsolete, or even break, if the upgrade is unsuccessful. Upgrade Crystals and assist powder are also destroyed when an upgrade fails. Cash shop items can be used to decrease or eliminate the chance of failure. Certain upgrades also provide the player a bonus if they are reinserted.

Glyphs

Glyphs are upgrade components that can be inserted into special sockets on the Paragon Board. Glyphs boost the power of all nodes in their radius and include pre-existing affixes to equipment. Glyphs can be upgraded a variety of ways, and we recommend getting them up to level 15 whenever you can.

In the endgame you'll find that the best way to improve your gear is by placing Glyphs. They are the only upgrade components that can be upgraded directly to level 15, and they provide a large boost to your power and radius on the Paragon Board, enabling you to climb higher nodes faster.

The majority of upgrades in the game can be replaced however, Glyphs are only the one upgrade component that can be removed and replaced without any restrictions. Only legendary equipment can be salvaged and rebuilt by using a Black Lion Salvage Kit.

The value of each Glyph is displayed when you choose it in your inventory. You can replace it with another Glyph that is the same or higher rank to increase the value of the Glyph.

Glyphs are available in the Black Lion Trading Post as part of a Gem Store bundle or purchase, with certain unlimited-use tools and also during Faction Crypt Raids. Every Faction Crypt has a chance to drop one of the various Glyphs as well as also a few rare glyphs to be found in the form of drops from any of the four Faction Crypts.

Certain upgrades require an ingredient to be activated. This ingredient is obtained from finishing Upgrade Recipes. These recipes can be purchased from NPCs or on the upgrade tab in a crafting table. Each completed Upgrade Recipe yields several Technology Points. These points can be used to level the item. Once enough points have been earned, the upgrade can be claimed and the additional bonuses will be added to the item.

When a player upgrades a piece of equipment it is replaced by a new item. The same armor will be upgraded to a weapon or a shield when upgraded. The new item also comes with its own set of bonuses. This could be a disadvantage, as the item can increase in price even if you do not require it.

Item upgrades can sometimes be rerolled, provided that the player has enough tokens to be able to do this. This causes the item to be exchanged for a new one, which will come with an initial level and a different set of bonus bonuses. This is useful for some items, but it shouldn't be performed frequently, since it can waste many resources.

Certain upgrades can be rerolled many times to increase their value, giving players the ability to alter their gear. Dolphin's Gift is a good example, as it provides a buff if the player continuously enters or exits water. Requirements

The upgrader for items lets players increase the level of their equippable equipment (armor weapons, weapons trinkets, and armor) beyond ilvl385 by handing over the appropriate currency to the NPC. Upgrades to armor set pieces also increase its base defense and weapon upgrades items boost their base damage as well as the required strength and dexterity.

Each item can be upgraded up to five times, with the exception for hero gear, which can be upgraded eight times. Each time you upgrade an object, it has a chance of failing. When an item is upgraded the upgrades are applied from the lowest to highest. This means that the weapon that is upgraded receives a crit chance boost it will be applied before any attack damage increases. Slots is a brand new attribute that was added to the definitions of items. The value is calculated every time an upgrade occurs.

The amount of resources needed to upgrade an item upgrader kit is based on its rarity rating and the number of upgrade slots. The cost of upgrading non-premium equipment is equivalent to its value. For example an item of common use could have five upgrades for a price of. 25,600 Technology Points and a 4x Quality Improvement Chance. Hero quality items will have a much lower cost for each upgrade.

Premium items have different upgrade requirements in comparison to standard equipment. For instance, they may require fewer sowels but more minerals and erons. Players will still have to bring each piece of gear they want to upgrade to NPC [ArmorBoboko. Boboko located in Central Flarine. Each equipment upgrade will require different amounts of ingredients for upgrading, in addition to the cost mentioned above.
