The Babyzen Yoyo stroller is a great option if you're on a tight budget and don't need a stroller which can also be used as a car seat carrier. It features a flip-flop-friendly one-step footbrake.

It's easy to push, and it is solid when navigating kerbs and woodland paths. It's also a breeze to fold.

1. Babyzen YOYO2

The Babyzen YOYO2 has earned itself a reputation as the ultimate lightweight single buggy for jet-setters and city dwellers alike, thanks to its super nimble manoeuvrability and foldable design that can be tucked away in aeroplane overhead luggage. This latest version features independent suspension on all 4 wheels comprised of Hytrel elastomer. This allows it to 'perfectly navigate all terrains and types'.

The frame's base YOYO2 frame, curved fabric bassinet and six-month color pack form a stylish pushchair that is easy on the eye and has a subtle but elegant design and stylish branding. The base frame alone weighs just under a kilo and is so light you can easily lift it out of the box (and do it with one hand).

It's also easy to add or remove attachments, adaptors, or adaptors like the hood for example, snaps onto the YOYO2 with reassuring clicks and is machine washable to prevent staining from rice cakes smushed and half-dissolved carrot puffs. The Newborn Pack and bassinet can be used from birth as a pram. It can also be transformed into a stroller at 6 months with the YOYO connect additional chassis.

2. Evenflo Pivot Xplore

Evenflo Pivot Xplore stroller wagon is an excellent choice for parents looking for a versatile stroller. The Evenflo Pivot Xplore can be converted from a stroller into an actual wagon by flipping the handle. Parents can then decide the best mode for their journey. The wagon can be used by one or two children from 6 months up to 5 years, and it has a wide storage basket for everything you need on the go.

The Xplore also comes with two canopies that rotate from front to back, ensuring ample sun protection for all family members. It also has a footwell, which is not as deep or wide as some wagons, so it may not be ideal for long-distance excursions or for napping.

The frame of the Xplore wagon feels solid and sturdy but it does not flex as much as some other wagons we test. It is also more difficult than other wagons to fold and it isn't able to lock securely after folding. It is easy to move, though, and it can fit through narrow 28-inch doors.

3. Delta Children LX Side-by-Side

This bare-bones double stroller from Delta Children is an excellent option for parents who want a budget-friendly secondary travel stroller. It scored high in our Strollers & Multiples Test for its weight and folded dimensions, meaning it is lightweight, compact when folded, and easy to carry and put into a car trunk. It also offers an adjustable reclining seat that can be positioned in several positions as well as a parent cup holder. Other important features include two large hanging storage bags as well as 360-degree shock-absorbing front wheels.

It performed better in our push and turn test than a lot of the other strollers we tested, but was still difficult to maneuver over uneven terrain or through narrow doors. Its sunshades were among the smallest strollers we test. They only cover the top single strollers, and don't have windows that peek out. The UPPAbaby G-Link 2 and Zoe Twin+ have larger canopies.

It took us less than 3 minutes to assemble the Delta with a manual. All of the components required tools. It's lacking certain features we consider essential for double strollers. They include a large basket, reclining seats and leg rests that can be adjusted.

4. Maxi-Cosi Zelia 2-in-1

The Zelia is the most recent addition to Maxi-Cosi's pushchair range and is billed as an urban travel system. It can also be used with Maxi Cosi capsule car seats and comes complete with the light Mico 30 infant car seat, a stay-incar base and a reversible carriage.

It's a breeze to maneuver, and the one-hand reclining of the seat as well as the huge shopping basket make it simple for parents to get their child in and out quickly. Despite being narrow, the pushchair handled the everyday bumps with ease and went through doorways without fuss.

The front wheels can be locked in an forward position or let them swivel which helps when covering rough terrain. When we walked along the stony path we allowed them to swivel and it did this quite well, though it did appear more bumpy than the other models on test.

5. Baby Jogger City Tour 2

Baby Jogger is a household name for their all-terrain, 3-wheeler jogging pushchairs, but they also have a wide assortment of strollers with four wheels. The City Tour 2 is one of their most popular models. It is easy to use and folds small enough to fit in the car boot, even with the carrycot attached.

It is heavier than the other strollers we've test, but since it has composite wheels made of rubber it feels solid and well-constructed. It is easy to maneuver on different terrains, and even with two kids with shopping bags and other things.

Both the seat and the carrycot come with hoods that can be removed to reveal the UV50and sun canopy extensions. They are durable and waterproof, in contrast to other prams hoods which can be blown back into toddlers faces.

It's not the biggest of storage space, but it does come with a huge basket that's big enough to hold an infant's changing bag and plenty of food items. You can also use it with the Baby Jogger car seat for infants up 20 lbs (car seat and adapters are available separately). If you require a stroller that is able to be taken on the road, then the City Tour 2 is an excellent choice.

6. Nuna Mixx Next

When the Nuna Mixx first rolled onto the scene, it instantly captured the hearts of parents all over the world. The travel system is available with the option of adding an additional car seat or carrycot using the adaptors included. The brakes have only one action and are color coded. They also are compatible with flip-flops.

7. Babyzen Duet

This single seat buggy for sale pushchair that is budget-friendly is surprisingly easy to handle and has great dual suspension, one-hand fold, and a handy carry strap. It's also lightweight and durable. The seat can be reclined into a variety of different positions. It also has a double-breathable mattress built in that is suitable for infants.

The canopy/seat comes with two extra-large fixed or flip-out sun visors. Both are UPF50+. The toggle closure isn't the best as it’s not as quiet as Velcro, and can wake up napping babies.

The Duet is a side-by-side stroller and can be adapted to accommodate twins or other siblings (up to a maximum of 22kg per seat). It is compatible with two infant car seats and works with some carrycots. In twin-mode, the seats can face each other or turn around and face their parents, potentially reducing sibling rivalries over who sits with dad and mom. It comes with a large gear tray, bottle holder snack tray, and an adjustable mat. It also has an automated frame lock and a superior compact fold.

8. Baby Jogger Urban Glide 2

The Thule Urban glide 2 is a great jogger for parents that like to be active. It's one of the lightest strollers for running that you can buy for your child. It also comes with great safety features, like a 5-point safety harness as well as a wrist safety strap. It also comes with a twist single hand fold stroller brake that's distinct from the lever-type used on rival models.

The seat is comfortable and offers a large area to sit in, however the depth of the seat is not as deep as other joggers we've tested (it's about 10"). The storage bin is equipped with an enclosed zipper to help keep items secure. It can hold up to 10lbs, which is enough for most diaper bags.

The Urban Glide 2 doesn't come with adapters for most bassinets and car seats for infants, but you can use them from the first day using adapters that work with brands like BOB, Graco Combi Evenflo Britax UPPAbaby. It folds compactly and takes 5-10 minutes to assemble without tools. The manual is simple to comprehend and contains multiple languages.
