Like its predecessor j9+, the new model uses iRobot's PrecisionVision navigation technology and a camera that can detect the presence of obstacles in your home. This allows the robot to navigate and avoid cords, furniture, shoes and wires and even pet urine (which it is able to recognize because of iRobot's renowned P.O.O.P promise).
