The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is an excellent option if you're looking to buy a mid-range robot vacuum and mop vacuum robot. It's a great mopping capabilities, but is lacking some of the features found in its more expensive counterpart.

In tests, it was able to handle dust and dry oats on carpets with medium piles as well as pet hair on hard floors. But, unlike cheaper models, it doesn't employ LIDAR to help you map your home.

iRobot Roomba s9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the top-rated robot vacuums. It offers impressive cleaning power and numerous features, including an automatic dirt bin built into its charging base. The robot also learns your habits of cleaning and suggest automatic schedules for a truly hands-free experience.

It's easy to set up thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the procedure. Once the system is in place you can begin the cleaning automatically with just one button press. You can select the general clean option, which prioritizes the removal of larger particles like rice and cereal. You can also choose two mappings to ensure that the entire home is cleaned thoroughly.

This robot vacuum performs well on both floors that are bare and carpets with low pile. It is able to take large objects and does not lose suction as fast as some others do, and it can even clean up pet hair with ease. It does have a hard time with high-pile or plush carpet, however iRobot promises it will improve with the next models.

The S9+ features a new design from iRobot that focuses on enhancing corner and edge cleaning. It's the very first Roomba that has flat-fronted D-shaped designs. The company hopes that this will allow it hug walls and furniture. It's a significant improvement over hockey puck-shaped robovacs which are widely used however we found it only marginally better than circular models.

iRobot also claims the S9+ comes with an advanced filter system that prevents microscopic dust particles and allergens from circulating within your home. We think this is a nice claim but not enough to justify a premium price.

Its smart navigation system uses sensors to store the structure of your home, and vSLAM to map your interior of your home. It can then clean your entire home efficiently by avoiding obstacles such as stairs and other barriers. The iRobot Home app lets you control the robot and schedule cleaning times, as well as establish virtual boundaries, so it can recognize areas that need extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

Roborock Q Revo is a robot that combines mopping and vacuuming. Its vacuum settings are as effective as those of higher-end models and its mopping system is better still--its spinning pads do a much more impressive job of scrubbing floors than a stationary vibration pad.

The only drawback is that it does not have an additional rubber brush for deeper cleaning, but it's an affordable price to pay if you want to get one of the best robots on the market. The robo-vac's tank for dust is also bigger than those on many of its rivals and takes only two or three cycles to fill it, even with the maximum dirt level.

For the mopping system, I was amazed by its ability to scrub hard dirt off my floors. Its two mopping modes at the lowest, which are less aggressive than the more powerful ones, generate very little noise, which allows you to work or even watch TV without interruption. It will gently bump into furniture or walls, and then move away when it encounters one.

The Q Revo is unique in that it operates almost autonomously, with little user involvement. The dock of the robo-vac can be multi-functional and can automatically transfer trash into a hidden bin. It also washes and dries the clean water tank. The app is capable of nagging you only when something needs attention, like the water tank being empty or a scheduled cleaning session that was cancelled due to a stuffed dust bin.

You can also design and merge actual rooms to customize the way that Q Revo will treat your home. This feature is helpful when you have different flooring in different areas of your home, or when you have to frequently remove clutter, Mop Vacuum Robot such as toys, clothes and books. The robot vacuum was also one of the best performers in my test, picking up debris on both carpets as well as hardwood floors in the first go. It is able to even remove wet dry robot vacuum spills but I would suggest drying them with a cloth before sending the robot in.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd expect from a high-end robot vacuum and mop and more. Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+, it comes with a powerful vacuum with powerful suction that cleans hard and carpet floors, plus an omni-rotating mop that scrubs tough stains. It also comes with an auto-cleaning base station that automatically cleans and empty the mop pads, ensuring that they remain them germ-free and ready for use again. It also features a new sensor system that is able to better detects obstacles, giving it the ability to avoid falling over furniture and other objects.

The biggest difference over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that this version is sleeker and more modern design thanks to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best known for its Bang & Olufsen products). The robot is still quite large. It measures over two feet in both height and depth, and weighs almost four pounds. However the robot as well as its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo and iRobot j7.

This model is more efficient than the X1 as it charges faster and can clean 1,500 square feet in one charge. Additionally, it comes with a larger dustbin that is more durable to hold more debris which makes it easier to empty when required.

The X2 Omni also has a more natural voice assistant as well as an app that works even when you're at home. It also has additional mopping modes as well as a smart routing feature that allows you to clean specific areas or rooms of your house instead of simply following a predetermined route.

The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a top-quality mop and robot vacuum that comes with a host of convenience features that you aren't likely to find on robots of this price range. It can make detailed floor maps and identify different types of flooring. It's also one of the few robots that can automatically clean and dry its mop pad. These are nice features but they also make the L10s more of a premium category. This could make it more expensive than what homeowners want.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaner. It is tall and slim with a white finish, accentuated by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is dominated by a huge bumper, which helps protect the vacuum and furniture from damage while moving through the home. Sensors are hidden behind the front pane, which help the L10s Ultra navigate around tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the vacuum, there is a single button which acts as an on/off switch. Pressing this will activate the vacuum, while clicking it again will turn off the vacuum and send it back to its base station. The control panel has a circular menu that lets you select cleaning modes, schedules, and preferences. The left and right buttons beneath the screen will open the settings menu in which you can alter the way that the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.

Like the iRobot Roomba S9+ and Roborock Q Revo, the L10s Ultra uses a combination of LIDAR and camera-based navigation technology to help you map out your home. This produces a precise floor plan that helps the robot vacuum and mop efficiently without getting stuck in cluttered areas. The LIDAR helps the robot vacuum avoid obstacles and recognize them and avoid them, which is a great feature for homes with pets or small children.

The L10s Ultra is an efficient vacuum cleaner, removing 98.4 percent of debris from our test on hard floors, and getting rid of all but the most stubborn juice stains. The mops are also efficient, removing 98.4 percent of debris from our tile, wood, and carpet tests. It was not as efficient in removing sand from the hard floor or quaker oatmeal from the carpet.
