The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing and self-drying capabilities. The pad can be washed and then dried with the dock and the dust container is automatically emptied and returned to it. This means that you can leave it in place and forget it, only needing to change the dust bag or refill the water tank on occasion.

All of this is powered by a lithium-ion battery of 5,200mAh. I used it on its normal vac and mop settings for approximately 160 minutes before the S8 Pro Ultra started to get power hungry and returned to its base to recharge. This isn't too far from the 180-minute time that Roborock claims and is at the same level as other hybrids I've tried.

It's a robust, well-rounded product. The only drawback is that it's expensive. The sheer amount of features makes it an appealing choice for anyone who is looking to replace their old mops and stick vacuums. We highly recommend this model for those who can afford its cost.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The premium price is justified by its robust features, including a large vacuuming capacity and two gyrating mop heads. Despite the L10S Ultra's top-of-the-line features, it requires regular maintenance. Its base station needs to be cleaned out and the water and dust tanks should be cleaned, emptied and dried regularly to prevent unpleasant odors and mildew. The mop pads sold separately also require changing regularly.

With the L10S Ultra's pricey pricing and its extensive features I would highly recommend it to anyone who has the funds for it. For those who are on a budget, I suggest considering an easier model that will allow you to save money while still enjoying hands-free cleaning at home. It's important to remember that even if the L10S Ultra is the best robot vacuum uk vacuum and mop you can purchase, its high purchase price and ongoing maintenance will ultimately make it more of a desire than a necessity.

3. Eufy S1 Pro

Eufy S1 Pro is the robot vacuum and mop that you require to get rid of messes and remove dirt from your hard floors. You can also add a cleaning solution to the dock, should you prefer the option of using your own cleaner. If you decide to use this feature however, you'll be required to purchase the Eufy brand cleaning solution that is more expensive than other robot brands allowing you to use your choice of cleaning products.

The S1 Pro performed well in the coverage and efficiency of navigation tests, just like the majority of robots. It was quick to map a space and navigated around furniture. It sat on carpets with thick piles a couple of times during my tests. However it could be improved by updating the software. The S1 Pro is a very powerful robot that can be bought at an affordable price.

4. Roborock Qrevo

The Qrevo is Roborock's entry-level vacuum and mop however it has some outstanding features. Its multifunction dock empties the robot's dirtbag and replenishes its water tanks, washing and sanitizing mop pads as they go. The mopping system itself is capable of cleaning a large portion of an area before it needs to return to its dock and the vacuum's high suction does a nice job of removing debris and pet hair from carpets.

The app that runs the appliance is extensive, and provides various options for customizing the cleaning process. You can choose to manually start an entire map and clear everything that's been that the device maps, or you can select individual rooms, expandable zones, or even a schedule you've set up. SmartPlan is one of the mopping options. It makes use of the sensors on the mops to map out the area and determine the most efficient method to clean it.

Like all Roborock models we've tested The Qrevo does well in our tests. Its navigation system performs well, mapping rooms quickly and cleaning in an organized way. The default pathing setting is excellent at covering a room, leaving no major gaps or missed areas. The Reactive Tech hazard avoidance system works fairly well, too although it's not as advanced as the color camera system of the Qrevo Master or the S8 Pro Ultra. It is able to detect dangers like carpets that are thick, but it may not be able to identify smaller objects like rug tassels and electrical wires.

The one glaring flaw of this model is the absence of a mop after vacuum option which could be a problem for people who are frequently vacuuming prior to cleaning with their robot. Thankfully, there's an easy alternative: the app has the option to "clean up" at the end of each vacuuming session. This lets you use the mopping feature of the vacuum to remove the last traces of debris and dust that you've left behind from your vacuuming. It's a nice addition and helps the robot hoover and mop to clean up a little bit better than its competitors with lower prices.
