The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is an excellent option if you're looking to buy a mid-range robot vacuum and mop. It offers a great mopping experience but lacks the advanced features of its more expensive counterpart.

In tests, it was able to tackle dry oats and dust on medium-pile carpet as well as pet hair on hard floors. However, like cheaper models, it doesn't utilize LIDAR to help you map your home.

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the top-rated robot vacuums. It offers impressive cleaning power and a variety of features that include the self-emptying dirt container built into its charging base. This robot vacuum is effective on both floors that are bare and low-pile carpet. It is able to pick up pet hair and clean large items up. It doesn't lose its suction as fast as some other robot vacuums. It's a challenge with plush or best robot Vacuum and mop high-pile carpets, but iRobot says that future models will be better.

The S9+ features a new design from iRobot that concentrates on improving edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt an open-fronted, flat-fronted design, which it hopes will allow it to be able to swaddle walls and furniture. It's an improvement over the hockey puck-shaped robovacs which are standard, but we found it to be just marginally better than circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also features a superior filtration system which blocks microscopic particles and allergens recirculating throughout your home. We think it's a nice claim, but not enough to justify a premium price.

Its smart navigation system uses a combination of sensors to remember the layout of your home and vSLAM technology for mapping the interior. This allows it to avoid obstacles like staircases and other barriers, and also to clean your whole home efficiently possible. The iRobot Home app lets you control the robot and schedule cleaning times, and set up virtual boundaries, so it knows to avoid areas that require more attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

When it comes to robots that combine vacuuming and mopping the Roborock Q Revo stands out. Its vacuum settings are just as effective as those found on more expensive models. The mopping system is even better as its spinning pads scrub your floors much more effectively than the vibrating pads.

The only issue is that it does not have a second rubber brush to provide more thorough cleaning, but that's an acceptable cost to pay if want to get one of the best robot vacuum for dog hair robots available. The robo-vac's dust tank is also larger than many of its competitors and it takes only two or three cycles to fill it up, even with the highest dirt level.

For the mopping system, I was awestruck by its ability to scrub tough dirt off my floors. The app will only alert you when something is not right, such as a low clean water tank or a cancelled vacuuming session due to a full bin.

You can also combine or create rooms to alter the way Q Revo handles your home. This feature is helpful if you have different flooring in different areas of your home, or if you need to regularly remove clutter, such as toys, clothes and books. The robot vacuum was also one of the best robot vacuum cleaner performers in my test, picking up debris on carpets as well as hardwood floors on the first pass. It is able to even vacuum up wet spills but I would suggest wiping them dry with a damp cloth prior to sending the robot into.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni has all of the best robot vacuum cleaner features you'd want from a premium robot vacuum cleaner for pet hair vacuum and mop and more. It has a rotating mop and a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets as well as hard floors. It's akin to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also has an auto-cleaning station that automatically washes and cleans the mop pads to keep them clean and ready for reuse. It also comes with a sensor that can detect obstacles better which allows it to avoid falling onto furniture and other objects.

The most significant improvement over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that this model has a sleeker, more modern design, thanks to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best known for its Bang & Olufsen products). Although it's still quite large--it's more than two feet in height and depth and weighs nearly four pounds--the entire robot and its base are much less bulky than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot J7.

This model is more efficient than the X1 as it charges faster and cleans 1,500 square feet in one charge. It also has a larger and more robust dust bin that can hold more debris. This makes it easier to empty.

Additionally, the X2 Omni has a more intuitive app as well as voice assistant that operates offline, which means you can control it even when you're not at home. It also has a smart routing function that lets it clean specific rooms or areas of your home instead of following a set path.

The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot mop and vacuum is a high-end model that has a range of features that aren't typically found on robots of this price. It can make precise floor maps and recognize various flooring types. It's also among the only robots that automatically clean and dry its mop pad. But while these functions are useful but they also make the L10s Ultra more in the category of luxury which could make it somewhat more expensive than what some homeowners require.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaning machine. It's slim and tall, with a white finish accented with silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is adorned with a large bumper that protects the vacuum cleaner and furniture while moving around your home. In the pane in the front is an additional navigation technology in the form of sensors that help the L10s Ultra navigate around tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top, you'll find one button that serves as the on/off switch. Clicking this will turn on the vacuum, and pressing it again will turn off the vacuum and send it back to its base station. The center of the control panel has an oblique menu that allows you to select cleaning modes or schedules, as well as preferences. The left and right buttons open the app's settings where you can customize how the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.
