The S1 also did a great job cleaning hard floors, with its mop driving effortlessly on its flat side against the floor, and then lifting itself when it was near carpet or rugs.

After every mopping session, the docking station on the S1 automatically empties its dustbin and fills up its water tank with clean ozonated filtered water. The dock provides a deep-cleaning solution to the water. The S1 water tank can be able to accommodate 12 mopping sessions, however this will vary depending on the frequency you use the mop.

Like all 2-in-1 robots, the S1 requires regular maintenance to ensure it is operating efficiently. It is necessary to regularly wash out the dirty tank to avoid it becoming clogged. It is also necessary to clean your swivel wheel and sensors regularly to prevent them from getting clogged up with dirt or dust. Overall, the S1 requires less maintenance than other combos.

It has outstanding cleaning performance and hands-off maintenance, making it a clear contender on our top mop and robot vacuum list. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart recognition and a longer side brush ensure an efficient, customized clean.

The X40 Ultra vacuums well, it can remove both large and fine debris. It is a great choice on carpets and hard floors. It also cleaned our tests' dirtiest areas well, avoiding tangled pet hairs and other mess. The sweeping performance is augmented by an additional side brush that automatically extends to reach hard-to-reach corners, and an extendable mop pad that is placed along baseboards.
