This robot vacuum-mop is an excellent alternative for those who live in flats, because it takes the trash away in its own bin and uses a smaller docking station. Its app lets you set up various modes and monitor the cleaning. The mopping function is also impressive.

Its mapping, obstacle avoidance and mops are impressive. It picks up pet hair, robot vacuum and mop spillages and dirt. It also self-empties, self-cleans and re-fills its tank.

Roomba iRobot Combination

The iRobot Combo adds mopping to the already impressive vacuuming capabilities of the robot. The iRobot Combo can't replace our Editors' Choice winner, the Deebot X1 Omni. It scrubs more, and has an app for mobile devices that is easier to use, but it's a good alternative. In our tests, it consistently picked up dirt of all kinds and sizes from carpets and hard floors. Its obstacle avoidance system isn't the most sophisticated in the world, and isn't equipped with structured light and other technology like LiDAR, but it was able to avoid most collisions with furniture and other clutter.

The Combo features most of the same functions as the j7 Plus, including new onboard acoustic sensors to determine floor type and AI-powered navigation. However, it does not have the ability to adjust suction power manually. It's also less compact than its vacuum-only counterpart and doesn't come with self-empty docks.

The Combo is one of my favorite options for homes with a lot of space. Its elegant design is also among the best I've seen. The sleek matte black plastic looks better than most competitors' metallic or glossy finishes, and iRobot's little touches--like a leather tab to open the onboard bin and a shelf inside the dock that can hold additional bags--are more elegant than many of its rivals'. The iRobot Combo makes it easy to create maps and set up Keep-Out Zones.

Roborock

Although Roborock is relatively new to the robot vacuum and mop market however, it has already established a name for itself due to its suite of innovative cleaning techniques. The brand's vacuums have industry-leading suction, while mopping systems make use of vibrating mops that scrub floors clean. You can also alter the bot's cleaning routine by making use of a variety of scheduling and mapping features.

Roborock's obstacle avoidance feature allows the robot to spot objects that are smaller than its own height. The Beko Robotic automatic vacuum and mop robot/Mop RCV3 an elegant, feature-packed vacuum and mop. It does a great job at keeping floors clean and tidy. Although it isn't able to raise its mop on carpets or rugs like the award-winning Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra it's extremely effective in cleaning hard floors as well as tackling mopping with a stunning speed. It also comes with an auto-emptying bin, provides an excellent suction power, provides many mopping options and is operated by a high-end app that works on both iOS and Android.

It's a little smaller than most of the competition and its main brush is shorter than the majority, but it managed to make short work of our test area with ease. The revolving edge brush on the side is a nice feature. Although it wasn't able to remove dirt as well as some of the competitors, it did a great job.
