The Freo X Ultra is a well-rounded robot mop and vacuum that's incredibly clever in its mopping and vacuuming capabilities. Its design and functionality are among the top available however, it's also expensive.

It's a small base station that looks beautiful and is able to be concealed when not in use. The station's main selling point is the fact that it automates a variety of tasks, functions and chores that other robots have to leave to you. It can store dirty and clean water and automatic floor vacuum electrolyze and heat the water. Many other robots require you to do this.

Its vacuuming performance is also impressive. It's the only robovac that I've tried that does well at picking up debris from bare floors. It's also not as loud as the expensive Roomba 900 series or iRobot 980.

But the Freo X Ultra has its shortcomings, particularly in terms of navigation. Its laser and LiDAR sensors aren't as reliable as some other robovacs, meaning it can get stuck or confused in certain areas of the home. It's also unable to climb stairs as well as other competitors and doesn't come with a docking station to create a clean zone for plush carpets.

The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is an excellent option for those looking for a vacuum robot that can do it all.

However, if you're looking to save money or simply don't care about the limitations of this machine There are many alternatives on the market, including a lot of eufy models for significantly less. The eufy Qrevo Curv, for example is less expensive and offers an identical experience on the app with additional features such as the ability to climb stairs, a full-function dock, and better overall performance when vacuuming floors as well as high and low-pile carpets.

The eufy G30 has its flaws, though. The iRobot Roomba is better built and has lower monthly costs. It is faster to charge, has a similar battery life, and is more effective on bare flooring or carpet with a low pile. It has a bigger dust bin, which does not require as much emptying. It also has border strips that block it from certain areas. The G30 is less expensive and easier to maintain. Its smaller container means it doesn't need to be empty as often, and it has less difficulty with bulky items like cereal.
