The Roborock Q7 Max is a powerful robot that has smart mapping and app-based no go zones. Its running time of 180 minutes is impressive. It also automatically refills and self-empties its water tank.

1. Roomba j7+ iRobot from iRobot.

The Roomba J7+ is iRobot's smartest robot vacuum to date. Its biggest innovation, however, is its camera-based obstacle-detection system. It uses AI to detect objects such as charging cables and shoes. It's the first robot to send you pictures of the objects that it encounters, meaning you can tell the robot to stay clear of it.

The Combo j7+ is also the most effective mop-bot we've ever tested, removing dirt and spills with ease while leaving no trace it was there. The iRobot application makes it simple to control. You can schedule cleanings, and also create Keep Out Zones to ensure that it doesn't vacuum in areas you don’t would like. It's also compatible with Alexa and Google Assistant, so you can turn it on and off by speaking to it.

In our tests, the j7+ was quick to pick up and remove dust dirt, pet hair and even pet hair. The rubber brushes that counter-rotate kept the debris in its place instead of scattering it on the floor. It was able to collect sand, small gravel and even a little grit. Most robots can't accomplish this feat. It did all without getting caught up in our pet's hair.

Although it's not as sophisticated as the $1,217 Roomba s9+ Self-Emptying Robot Vacuum and can't clean stairs, the j7+ is still an excellent option for those who require both mopping and a vacuum in their home. It's not expensive and the iRobot application makes it user-friendly.

The iRobot Home App is easy to use but we found it less reliable as other robotic floor vacuums cleaner apps. It can take a long time to download updates, and often it's difficult to tell whether the update actually working until you see it in the action.

2. Roborock Q5+

If you're looking for an automated vacuum cleaner that can do more than just clean floors, your best choice is probably hybrid. This type of robot typically comes with a built-in tank for water which means they can remote vacuum and mop your home simultaneously. They also have a range of additional features, such as smart mapping, small obstacle avoidance, and even the capability to wash and dry mopping pads. They are expensive at retail, but they often come down in price on Black Friday or Cyber Monday.

Roborock is the manufacturer of several of our top robotic vacuums and the Q5+ is no exception. fail to impress. This is their least expensive auto-empty model, and although it doesn't have certain features you'll find on higher-end models (like no-go zones and multi-story memory) it's still an excellent option if you're willing sacrifice a bit to save hundreds of dollars.

The Q5+ is noticeably soft around obstacles like tables and walls, which makes it an excellent option for homes with a lot of furniture. It's also very thorough in removing dust bunnies. This is an area that many robot vacuums that are less expensive do not excel in. The Q5+'s navigation system is excellent, with few misses along walls or in corners.

The Q5+, like other Roborock products can be controlled with just a few buttons on the device or through the Roborock App. Through the app, you can start and stop cleaning, set schedules, create virtual barriers and no-go zones, and modify your home map or re-label rooms.

If you choose to purchase the Q5+ model, it ships with a new auto-empty dock specifically designed to make the robot easy to maintain. Installing it requires a screwdriver, but once it's installed emptying the bin is done easily. It features a large LCD screen, which is useful when setting up schedules and adjusting settings. This isn't an essential feature for everyone however it can aid in keeping track of the maintenance intervals for your robot easily.

3. Narwal Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra is a well-rounded robot vacuum and mop that's impressively smart in both its vacuuming and mopping capabilities. Its design is one of the top in the market however it's quite expensive.

It's a small base station that looks beautiful and is easily hidden when not in use. The primary selling point of the station is that it automates many tasks, chores and functions that other robots would leave to you. It can store dirty and clean water, and then electrolyze and heat the water. Many other robots require you to do this.

Its vacuuming is also impressive. It's one of the few robovacs I've tried that does very well at cleaning up debris from plain floors, and is not as loud as the more expensive Roomba 980 or iRobot the 900 series.

But the Freo X Ultra has its flaws, particularly in terms of navigation. Its LiDAR sensors and laser sensors aren’t as reliable as other robovacs. This means it is prone to getting stuck or confused in certain corners or rooms of the house. It's not able to climb stairs as well as competitors, and it doesn't have an dock that allows the user to set up an area for cleaning that is specifically designed for carpets that are soft.

While it doesn't offer the same amount of cleaning configuration options in its app, or as many in-app shortcuts as other robovacs, the Freo X Ultra is still a top choice for those looking for a comprehensive robot vacuum cleaner for sale vacuum and mop that's worth the price cost.

If you're looking to cut costs or aren't concerned about the limitations of the robot, there are other options available. Many of the eufy models cost significantly less. The Eufy Qrevo curv, for example is less expensive, but offers many more features, like stairs and a fully-function Dock, with a better overall vacuuming experience on bare floors carpets with low pile, and even high-pile carpets.

4. eufy RoboVac G30

eufy, an Anker company, has a track record of creating robot vacuums that strike the perfect balance between features, performance and price. The G30 Hybrid offers a powerful cleaning on hard and carpet floors, as well as mopping functions at a reasonable price. It's easy to set it up, just attach one of the side brushes and then turn it on. Then connect the charging dock. The app will guide you through the steps required to connect your G30 to your Wi-Fi. You'll need to place the dock close to a power outlet and ample space to allow it to move around however.

The G30 is a compact device that measures 2.85 inches in height, which means it can be placed under most couches and low-clearance pieces furniture. Its design is more subtle in comparison to other models. It is sleek with a black finish with three physical buttons for Auto Cleaning start/pause (which scrubs a spot in a spiral pattern over two minutes), Recharge, and Spot Cleaner. You can also connect the G30 to Amazon Alexa or Google Home to conduct cleaning without a schedule using voice commands.

The way the G30 cleans is what sets it apart from other models. It makes use of a built-in map to create an image of the non-movable objects that are in its path and then keeps track of what it has already cleaned and the areas it's not able to access. If it requires a recharge, it will automatically return to its base and automated vacuum cleaner resumes cleaning from where it started.

The eufy G30 has its flaws however. The iRobot Roomba is more durable and has lower monthly costs. It charges faster, offers a similar battery life, and performs better on unfinished flooring or carpet with a low pile. It also has a bigger dust bin that doesn't have to be emptied as frequently and comes with the boundaries that restrict it from certain areas. The G30 is, however is more affordable and a lot easier to maintain. Its smaller dust canister doesn't require as frequent emptying and it has less trouble with heavy materials like cereal.
