It can also be told to clean areas that are particularly dirty and also increase its suction power around litter boxes for cats and pet food bowls. The X40 Ultra can be programmed to perform specific tasks at the touch of a button, such as cleaning the bathroom sink or kitchen sink. It is also able to automatically raise its front side brush when it detects wet areas and to clean debris from corners and baseboards.

However, it struggled with longer-pile carpets as well as some long, thick messes of dried-on debris.
