Additionally, the S8 Pro Ultra has self-washing and self-drying capabilities. The pad is capable of rinsing and then drying within the dock. The dust bin will automatically empty and return to the dock. This means you can leave it in place and forget it, only needing to replace the dust bag or refill the water tank every now and then.

All this is powered by a lithium-ion 5,200mAh battery. I ran it on its normal vac and mop settings for around 160 minutes before the S8 Pro Ultra started to be power-deficient and then return to its base for a recharge. This isn't too far off of the 180 minutes that Roborock claims and is in line with other hybrids that I've test.

It's a well-rounded, capable product. The only drawback is that it's pricey. But, the sheer number of features makes it a very tempting choice for anyone looking to go away from their old stick vacuums and mop. If you can afford the hefty price tag we recommend you check this one out.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a high-end combination. Its price is justified by its robust feature set, which includes a large vacuuming capacity and two gyrating mop mops. It also comes with a smart, app-enabled controller and powerful obstacle avoidance technology.

The L10S Ultra is one of the most expensive robotic vacuums and mop combinations out there at a recommended retail price of 999 euros. In my tests, it performed very well throughout the home. It was able to eliminate 98.4 percent of debris from all types of floors and was able to lift long hair without tangling. The mops also performed admirably with excellent cleaning results with less effort than many mid-range models. This was thanks to their rotational movement and a strong dose cleaning solution.

However, the L10S Ultra's real highlight is its multifunctional docking station. The docking station emptys the dustbin into a bag that can be used for dirt, refills the water tank for mopping and even dries your mop pads. It features a real-time risk detection system, and its smart controls allow you to schedule periodic cleaning sessions.

Contrary to the other hybrid mops that I test and compared, the L10S Ultra doesn't offer advanced debris pickup performance on carpets. In addition it's not as efficient in removing tough stains like those in the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra, which is the most expensive model. Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.

Despite the L10S Ultra's premium features, it requires regular care and maintenance. To avoid mildew and unpleasant smells, the base station dustbag, water and tanks need to be cleaned regularly, emptied, and dried. It is also important to remember that the mop pads, Robot Mop that are bought separately, will need to be replaced on a regular basis too.

I would recommend the L10S Ultra to anyone with the money. If you're on a tight budget I suggest a more basic model that allows you to save money and still enjoy hands-free cleaning at your home. Its roller runs almost the entire width of the robot and is constantly dosed with clean, ozonated water from its dock. While it spins, the roller scrubs your floors while soaking up dirt and any dry debris is removed by the side brushes or swept away into the front colision bumper. The S1 Pro then takes the mop water into its base station, which is then absorbed by the tank's heating elements and dumped into a larger storage container. The onboard tank holds plenty of water, and can handle about half a dozen mopping sessions before running dry.

As with most robotic vacuums and mop sets The S1 Pro is ready to come out from the box. It will need to be filled with clean water, but this is a simple task within the cleaning dock. The mopping system is able to sweep a large area before returning to its dock. The vacuum's suction power is perfect for picking up pet hair and debris on carpets.

The application that runs the appliance is extensive, and provides a variety of options for customizing the cleaning process. You can choose to manually start the full map and then take care to clean everything that is mapped by the device, or you can select particular rooms, expandable zones, or even a routine you've created. There are a number of mopping options which include SmartPlan -an algorithm that uses the mops' sensors to find the most efficient method to clean your home as it maps the space.

The Qrevo was a great performer during our tests, just as all Roborock models that we've test. Its navigation system performs well, mapping rooms quickly and cleaning in an organized manner. Its "Normal" pathing option covers a room well, without any major gaps or missed areas. Reactive Tech's hazard avoidance function works well, but it's not as advanced as color camera systems on the Qrevo Master and the S8 Pro Ultra. It can detect hazards like thick carpets but may not be able to identify smaller objects like electrical wires and rug tassels.

The machine has a major problem: it doesn't have a mop option after vacuuming. This could be a problem for those who vacuum a lot before using their robot. Thankfully, there's an easy solution: the app offers an option to "clean up" at the end of each vacuuming session. You can make use of the vacuum's mopping capabilities to remove the dust and dirt that are left behind after vacuuming.
