The Eufy S1 Pro

This is the model you should choose if you want a robot vacuum cleaner that also mop. It's smaller than the other models on this list which makes it easier to maneuver into tight corners and underneath furniture. It has a 220-degree lidar that combined with its 3D Matrix camera system gives it some of the best automatic vacuum and mop navigation and object avoidance I've ever seen in a robotic vacuum. It's got a battery of 4600mAh that can last up to 170 minutes if mopping and sucking is set to standard mode. (It can run longer on turbo). It can even return to the dock to top up its battery part way through an efficient.

It's extremely efficient and does an outstanding job of cleaning my two bedroom apartment. It vacuums carpeted areas extremely quickly, and hardwood floors in the kitchen, living room, and hallways in a single pass. The suction motor's 8,000pa is quick at picking up dirt, droppings and pet hair. Carpet detection automatically increases power when it detects carpets, and the dual side brushes help to clean debris from corners.

The mopping performance, while still impressive, is not as good. The rotating mop spins at a high rate and it pushes down with 2.2lbs of force, effortlessly cleaning up dirt and stains. I've noticed that the front arm extends out a little more than other robots. This is helpful when getting into narrow corners or along baseboards. The same front arms can be used to sweep up larger debris, like broken toys or books.

The S1 Pro is also one of the quietest robot mop and vacuums I've tried. It doesn't make the same volume of sound when mopping or vacuuming, and is much quieter than the Narwal Freo X Ultra or RoboRock S7. The only issue is that the S1 Pro must use a proprietary cleaning solution for mopping and is sold separately from the vacuum. It is simple to install and works well. However when you purchase this robot vacuum solely to mop it is important to pay attention to this.

The Roborock Q Revo

Its biggest drawbacks were its lack of sophistication and the need to switch out the modules when switching between mopping and vacuuming. The app can't contain multiple maps, which can be a problem when you live in a house with multiple floors. The Matrix Plus robot is a great choice for those who want a device that can mop and vacuum.

The Yiko X1 Omni

The X1 Omni is the most expensive robotic vacuum that is able to mop in our review, but it comes with some unique features that are worth taking into consideration. The X1 Omni is notable for its massive dock that doubles as an charging base for the robot, a sink for cleaning and two water tanks that are 4 liters in size. It also houses a 2.5-liter dustbin and a 2.5 liter dust bin.

The base also comes with a set of control buttons that allow you to manually start a cleaning task and then recall the robot or use the dock's automatic emptying process. Press two buttons to turn off the child lock. This is a great feature for parents who are concerned about their children messing around with the vacuum.

Similar to other robotic vacuums, the X1 Omni utilizes its camera to identify furniture and obstacles in its path and eliminate them. Its True Mapping 2.0 navigation system maps your home 10 times faster than standard laser detection systems and is four times more accurate at finding objects.

The X1 can be prone to become stuck if it gets entangled in an obstacle, such as a power cable tangled over a rug. It won't work until you untangle it manually. While this was rare, it was a frustrating experience when it happened and especially because the X1 Omni does not come with a "stuck" status alert on its application.

Another potential downside is the X1 Omni's inability to automatically change between vacuuming and mopping modes during cleaning. You'll have to manually switch between the two modes, which isn't that bad but the mopping pad isn't cleaned or dried between uses. This can cause mildew and mold.

On the positive side, the X1 Omni is a beautiful-looking robot thanks to the design team at Jacob Jensen (of Bang & Olufsen fame) who conceptualized its sleek, modern-looking base and mopping pad. It's a significant change from the utilitarian all-black bases used by competitors like Roborock and iRobot and a pleasing view in a market which is dominated by clunky boxes and clunky models.
