World of Warcraft Item Upgrades

Item upgrades are a key aspect of preparing your character. Upgrades increase the base damage as well as enchantments of items.

They also provide bonuses and enhancements. The Blacksmith can sell them to you.

Players can recycle any item by pressing the upgrade button on it. Every recycled item upgrader adds one level to the gauge for upgrading.

Weapons

When a weapon is upgraded, it will gain a base damage bonus and an adjustment factor that affects other stats. The weapon can also be upgraded with a number of upgrade components that provide additional attributes or effects as well as distinctive cosmetic effects. These upgrades can be inserted into armor, weapons trinkets and gathering tools, and most require that the equipment have an upgrade slot that is available and meet certain requirements. The upgrade component can be removed from the weapon, armor or trinket, but it is not replaced. (Except for legendary equipment). Upgrade components can be recovered using the Black Lion Salvage Kit Ascended Salvage tool, or a high-tier salvaging tool for an item.

A weapon can also be upgraded to include a Calibration attribute that increases certain stats, such as Weakspot damage or Crit Rate. This is accomplished through the Gear Workbench's interaction menu. Based on the level of the weapon, this can be done up to four times.

Once the weapon has reached the maximum level of upgrade, it may be reforged using a variety of different upgrade types to boost specific stats or add other bonuses and effects. These upgrades can be applied simultaneously, and their effects will vary depending on how rare the weapon is.

There are two Blacksmiths in the game that can perform these upgrades: Blacksmith Hewg in the Church of Elleh hub area and Smithing Master Iji in the Road to the Manor Site of Grace. The upgrade materials are both different: Smithing Stones to modify the kind of damage a weapon deals and Somber Smithing Stones to modify the standard weapons.

Generally, it is advised to improve weapon damage first, followed by armour defense, then the other secondary stats as required by your build. It is not uncommon to see melee Druids upgrade their weapon prior to upgrading other equipment. This helps maximize DPS. This is particularly relevant to enchantments that can be extremely efficient in increasing the weapon's damage and other stats.

Armor

item Upgrade upgrades allow players to boost the performance of specific weapons, armors, trinkets, and gathering tools. These upgrades can also give additional effects, like an increase in damage or a cosmetic enhancement. Item Upgrades can be obtained through crafting, buying from NPC vendors, loot drop or as rewards for quests.

The armor can be upgraded by visiting the Armorer NPC, and spending the appropriate currency. In most cases an Best item upgrade of armor will be upgraded to the next level after an upgrade is applied. Most types of armor are upgradeable, however certain items (such as the starter armour in Great Sky Island) cannot.

Most armor upgrades increase the item upgrading's defense or strength by a small amount. Certain upgrade components, however, can lead to significant increases in defense or strength. This is especially the case when upgrading epic items.

Certain upgrades offer special abilities which can be activated when wearing armor. These abilities can be useful in combat, such as granting a buff to attack speed or blocking. Certain upgrades provide passive effects that can be beneficial like reducing damage while wearing armor, or increasing the chance of avoiding an attack.

Depending on the type of armor, upgrading an item can require multiple attempts. If a player wishes to upgrade Steelclash armor to Dragonscale, then the first attempt will result in a brand new Dragonscale armor with the defense base ranging from 59 to 67. The second attempt would result in an Dragonscale armor that has a base defense of between 67 and 77.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild lets players to upgrade their armor sets up to level 4. To do this players must visit each of the four locations known as Great Fairy Fountains in the game. Each of these locations is home to an incredibly powerful fairy who can upgrade a piece of armor for the player.

Contrary to popular belief armor in The Division 2 is not useless. The truth is that certain armors provide significant boosts to poison, curse, fire or magic damage reduction, which makes them extremely useful for specific builds. There are other methods to boost the stats of armor besides upgrading the armor, like using the engineer attribute to increase armor penetration or the challenger trait to decrease the total weight.

Potion

A potion can be upgraded by placing it in a brewing stand to unlock new effects. The upgrade unlocks a new tier of potion effects, and can be repeated to increase the potency.

The potion also gets a custom color code which the player can choose using /give and which affects area-of-effect clouds and arrows produced by the potions. In Bedrock Edition the custom potion color is also applied to the particle effects of the potions.

The water bottle, common and thick potions as well as difficult potions, now have a distinct brewing texture. Added potion of weakness and healing potion in the Creative inventory. The addition of lingering potions which can be brewed using Dragon breath or splash potions. Also added is a thick potion which has the status effect Mining Fatigue. Trinket

A trinket can be described as a small inexpensive piece of jewelry. It could be a ring, necklace, or even a small flag that is used to identify a vessel's lateen yard. It can also be the trinket with gilded gold that is attached to the mast of a vessel.

This bizarre trinket is believed to be influencing the residents of this maze by making them more prevalent. At present, this trinket makes all types of mimic Xx more prevalent and gives every floor an X% chance of having an ebony mimic. This trinket costs a moderate amount of energy to upgrade.

The magic from the enchanted scepter is believed to be affecting the dungeon itself, making it more likely to produce water and grass. At its current level this trinket can make X% of the floors become filled with water or grass but it doesn't affect enchantments, symbols, cursed weapons or armor, or items that are created to aid in the elimination of hazards.

The item, which appears like a eyes of a nymph, seems to affect your vision in a manner that goes beyond merely narrowing your field of vision. At its current level this trinket increases the overall health gained from drinking potions of healing, waterskins, and wells of health by X%. It also grants the ability to see enemies within Y tiles. This trinket is not stacked with the Heightened Senses.

Skull Cavern is where you will find Trinkets after completing the Mastery Cave. You will find them when you defeat Monsters and in chests and crates. They aren't found in the Mines or Volcano Dungeon.

Place the trinket into the Anvil when it needs to be upgraded. This will cause an unintended impact on the trinket either prolonging its life or item upgrade enhancing its effects. You can reorge a Trinket as many times as you wish, however it will always have an impact that is different from the one you had when you first made it.

You can also upgrade your Trinkets at the Alchemy Station by placing them into the Magical Catalyst. This will cost you 6 energy and increase the trinket's power by a small amount.
