The iMop awed us with its assessment of the effectiveness of navigation and coverage, and it was very efficient in avoiding obstacles, including furniture. It also finds its way to the base station if it is unable to recharge its batteries during a cleaning session.

It also has a spot cleaning mode that allows you to clean or mop a specific area of your floor. And it can be manually programmed to follow a fixed route, which is helpful for narrow staircases or hallways. It did a good job of cleaning carpets in our carpet cleaning review, but it struggled with higher pile carpets and carpets.
