How a Jaguar Smart Key Works

Jaguar smart key enables you to lock and unlock the vehicle from a distance. Like all electronic devices, it is powered by a battery.

Your car could show a decrease in its effective range of signals when your Smart Key battery begins to go out of service. The message center can also display an alert "SMART-KEY BATTERY IS LOW".
