What is an Item Upgrader in Pokemon Go?

The item upgrader is an additional widget to the top of both the Angel and Cash Upgrade Windows. This Manager costs 33 billion Angel Investors and offers no benefits to gameplay other than making it easier to see and purchase upgrades.

Boosts

There are many boosts available with an item upgrader. These can include stats, as well as additional bonuses. These bonuses can be incorporated into weapons, armor, and trinkets. They can be used to boost a character's abilities or to add a new element of variety to their build.

Some items have an inherent boos that are less effective when upgraded, like the Goldwrap that gives you more slots for potion. They are usually upgraded to increase the value of the perfect or nearly perfect item.

Costs

Upgrades come with a few associated costs. The first is the cost to perform the upgrade items. This price is contingent on the item's new ilvl and the amount of perks it will gain and can be costly. Upgrades to a higher level (such as Explorer to Champion or Veteran to Heroic) can be costly.

The second is the cost of the items required for an upgrade. These are typically Power Dices (dropped from monsters 21+), Minerals and Erons or specific Mists of Pandaria or Warlords Of Draenor Quests. These materials can be found in the inventory of an upgrade vendor.

It takes time to upgrade an item. It can take 8 hours depending on the size of the upgrade. The stats that are the base of the upgraded item are calculated based on its new ilvl and other characteristics. This calculation determines new Armor Class bonuses, damage dice, and other important statistics. In some cases an upgrade may grant additional perks. These perks are offered on a list.

In rare instances the upgrade will only replace the most expensive bonuses. The upgrader may also make other adjustments to the item, such as changing the damage type of its weapon, or adding or eliminating an operational or unwieldy feature. The cost for these modifications is based on the item's new ilvl, and it may require a special substance like the adamantine alloy.

Success Rate

Upgrades to items are based on a chance, and like every random system, there's the possibility that the upgrade will fail. There are a few ways to increase your chances of success. This includes using an Upgrade Pity or adding additional materials to your upgrade.

The Upgrade Pity can be bought through the NPC for the smithing process in Lost Ark. It increases the odds of a successful upgrade by a certain percentage. It's similar to the "luck bonus" that some items offer, but it is more secure. It can be added to any weapon or armor, and is used three times.

It is also possible to add a variety of additional items to the upgrade, which increases its chance of success. These materials are displayed in a window located above the + button. There are a few limitations. The maximum amount of material you can add is displayed directly above the + button.

Another method to increase the chance of an upgrade achieving success is to use an item known as Blacksmith Blessing or an upgraded version of it. This item is beneficial in the event that you have an item upgrader kit or weapon equipment that is at the highest level for its tier or is close to it. Failure Rate
