WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades provide a guaranteed boost to certain stats. Each upgrade boosts the level of an item by +3. A random additional substat is also added to every upgrade.

The more modernized gear generally has a more value in trade as long as it meets low requirements (like the FB sorc's shield) or very high stat variance (like the eth titan weapons). The latter see less value from upgrading due to the necessity to roll to get a perfect version.

Recycle Points

The item upgrader allows players to upgrade their gear by offering the currency to an NPC. Upgrades can be applied on any type of armor or weapons. The Best item upgrade used to upgrade the item is discarded and cannot be used again. Upgrades can also be applied to enchantments.

You can upgrade your gear at any time by visiting the upgrader in any major city. To keep your gear up-to-date, it is recommended that you visit the upgrader every several weeks.

Upgrades can cost more based on the item level, however, they are always cheaper than purchasing new equipment. Upgrades such as upgrading a Benthic chest to ilvl385 will cost you 20 recycle points. Buying a similar item will cost you 105.

Valorstones

Upgrades are items that can be used to purchase tools, armor, weapon, and accessory upgrades. They can be purchased by players through item upgrader kit upgrader NPCs in exchange for different currencies, and can be found in random treasure lists. Once an upgrade is purchased it can be applied to any weapon, tool, or armor using a The button will display the preview of an item's next upgrade level when there are enough materials.

The upgrade cost depends on the slot of the Item Level Upgrade and the current level of the item as well as the level of the weapon, which is more than bracers or gloves, for example. Each step costs 15 Flightstones plus a certain number of crests. Some upgrades give discounts on Flightstones. Once an Best item upgrade is upgraded to a certain level it can be re-downgraded and sold to the upgrader at a lower price.

In Season 3, a number of new features have been added to the upgrade system. After an upgrade has been completed to a certain level of item for an armor slot, upgrading other items to the same item level, will cost less. This is even if those items come from an entirely different set of equipment.

The discount applies to all accounts. Similarly, the amount of Harbinger Crests needed for upgrades is also reduced and is not available until players reach certain milestones in their achievements.

Crests

When it comes to upgrading gear in WoW, players have a couple of options. Flightstones are an item that is available to everyone for upgrading. Crests are more special and are utilized during specific item level upgrades. Crests are a key element of the Dragonflight gear progression system introduced in 10.1 and are available in 4 ranks.

The first thing to remember is that the crests can only be purchased for equipment that is with a certain rank. Each rank has a different upgrade path. The most basic and straightforward upgrade path costs 15 crests, while the more complex one can require as much as 20 crests, based on the type of equipment being upgraded.

Players can obtain crests by completing content of the appropriate level, which means walking around and doing outdoor activities to get lower-tier gear, raids or dungeons of all difficulty for items of higher tier, or Mythic+ heroic raid bosses or dungeons for gear that is used in the endgame. These crests can be exchanged with an upgrader like Cuzolth or Vaskarn, in Valdrakken for the appropriate upgrade steps and paths.

The new currency system isn't too difficult to use, but it will bring some changes to the upgrade process. When a piece attains the highest level of upgrade for any rank (Explorer or Adventurer), it no longer requires Flightstones. This is to allow players to upgrade their gear up to the highest level possible on all their characters, instead of relying on seasonal loot.

Another important change is that crests have one usage, so it's important to use them wisely. It's Best item upgrader to use your Whelpling-rank Crests on the highest-quality gear that you can find and [Redirect Only] keep Drake and Wyrm Crests for the next round of upgrades. This is especially applicable to items like rings and trinkets that occupy multiple slots.
