WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades give you boost in certain stats. Each upgrade increases Item Level Upgrade level by 3. Each upgrade also boosts the random substatus.

Upgraded gear is generally more useful, unless the item is not required by nature (like FB sorc shields) or has a large variance in stats (like eth Titan weapons). These types of gear get less value from upgrading due to the necessity to roll for a perfect version.

Recycle Points

The item upgrader allows players to upgrade their gear by giving the currency to an NPC. Upgrades can be applied to any kind of armor or weapon. However, the item that is used for the upgrade will be consumed for the duration of time and can't be used again. Upgrades can be applied to the enchantments.

The upgrader is located in all major cities, and can be visited at any time to upgrade your equipment. It is recommended to visit the upgrader every few weeks, to keep your equipment up-to-date.

The cost of upgrading will depend on the current item level of the item being upgraded however, they will always be cheaper than purchasing new gear from other sources. For example upgrading a Benthic chest to ilvl 385 will cost 20 recycle points, while buying a similar item from another player will cost 105.

Valorstones

Upgrades are useful items that are used to improve the quality of weapons, tools, armor, and item level Upgrade other accessories. They can be bought by players from item upgrader NPCs in exchange for various currencies, and may also be found in random treasure lists. Once an upgrade is purchased, it can be applied to any weapon, tool, or armor using an button, which displays a preview of the Best item upgrader at the next upgrade level if the player has sufficient materials.

The cost of upgrading varies based on the item slot, and the current item level. For example weapons are more expensive than gloves, bracers or bracers. Each step costs 15 Flightstones plus a certain number of crests. Some upgrades offer a discount on the Flightstones. After an item has been upgraded to a certain level it is able to be degraded and returned to the upgrader for a lesser amount of the two currency types.

Upgraders for items can be found in a variety of locations, including the main island, as well as a few outposts. The NPCs provide both an upgrade coupon and the possibility of getting an entirely new recipe. The discount for upgrades increases according to the number of items being upgraded, and can be increased by having players complete specific achievements or complete quests.

Crests

When upgrading gear in WoW, players have a variety of options. Flightstones are a currency that is available to all players for upgrading. The first thing to note is that crests can only be used to purchase equipment that is of a particular rank, and that every rank has different requirements for its upgrade path. The easiest and most straightforward upgrade costs 15 crests. The most complicated upgrade can require up to 20 crests, based on the kind of gear being upgraded.

Players can earn crests by working through content that is of the appropriate level, which involves walking around and performing outdoor activities for gear of lower tiers, raids or dungeons with all difficulty for items of higher tier, or Mythic+ heroic raid bosses or dungeons for gear that is used in the endgame. The crests can later be exchanged at an item upgrader kit upgrader NPC, like Cuzolth in Dornogal or Vaskarn in Valdrakken to get the appropriate upgrade paths and steps.

Utilizing these new currencies isn't too complicated, but the system introduces some changes to the overall upgrade process. For Item Level Upgrade instance, when an item reaches the highest level of upgrading for any rank (Explorer, Adventurer, Veteran, Champion, Hero, or Mythic) it won't require Flightstones to be upgraded. This is to allow players to get their equipment up to the highest possible ilvl on all their characters, instead of relying only on seasonal loot.

It's also crucial to choose crests with care, since they only have one use. For instance it's a good idea use all of your Whelpling-rank crests on the top equipment you have, and then keep Drake and Wyrm crests for the next batch of upgrades you plan to make. This is particularly relevant for rings and trinkets that take up multiple slots on the character, that will be able to avail the discount for all accounts when all slots are filled with high-quality gear.
