Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades

Upgrades can sometimes increase the stats of a piece and, sometimes, even add extras. The worth of these upgrades is determined by the gear's tiers, their requirements, and the number of random augmentations can be applied.

The most powerful racial Shield Razortail for instance, is frequently upgraded to enhance its lightning absorption capability in PvP and/or provide additional defenses to missile-based build in the PvM. This makes it more exchangeable over the unupgraded version.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens permit you to reroll a purchased item, like an armor, weapon or ring. The item is replaced by an identical item, but with different benefits. Reroll tokens are a cost-effective method to upgrade equipment. However, they don't retain the same level as the original item and any resources that are wasted aren't refunded.

The surviving players can acquire reroll tokens in several ways, including the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. You can also find them in crates and chests or buy them from the stores for $150 each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter the attribute of an item, for example increasing its damage.

Players can roll equipment in three aspects: physical power, spell power and health. Physical power increases the damage that weapons and melee attacks and spell power improves rings and mage attacks. Health upgrades provide the player with an extra health.

Three types of reroll tokens are available: upgrade rare and legendary. Each upgrade elevates the item to a higher quality. To produce them, you need an upgrade item level reroll token. Upgrades with enhanced capabilities require a common item, rare upgrades require a unique or a legendary item, and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.

The marker for rerolling, unlike markers or tokens placed on action spaces remains on the space until the next Success is to be rerolled. This allows you to ensure that upgrades are not wasted.

A piece of gear can be upgraded a maximum of five times. Every time the item is upgraded, its stats will increase by a small amount. The highest level for an item is 19.

Some items are better off being upgraded less for their increased stats, but more for the fact that it lets players get the most value from a perfect roll on the item. For instance, a flawlessly rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly valued in the melee PvP community and could be worth 20-50x more than the non-upp'd version.

When you choose an upgrade component that you want to put into an item the game will display an open window that displays the required requirements. The game will show the requirements required when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item.
