The S1 Pro is an incredibly powerful machine that can vacuum and mop well. The vacuum cleaner has four power settings, a range of brushes and attachments, and an intuitive app which lets you choose the type of cleaning you want for each room.

For instance, you could opt for the robot to do a deep clean in the living and kitchen but go easy on the spare bedroom. The S1 Pro's front collision sensors and smart navigation technology are also excellent and the robot cleaner is capable of detecting tiny obstacles that other models have difficulty overcoming. Its only minor issue is that it tends to crash into walls and objects at full speed - but an instant glance at the history of cleaning within the app will show you exactly what it's doing, where it's going and the obstacles it's avoided.

The docking station features a handy LCD screen that shows the time when maintenance is required for cleaning up debris and cleaning the dirty water tank. It can also mix detergent automatically into the water tank by using a 600ml bottle filled with the eufy's solution.

Both the S1 Pro vacuum and mop come with plenty of running time, [Redirect-Java] with the mop capable of operating for 184 minutes in Quiet mode, while the vacuum is able to do 136 minutes in normal mode before needing to recharge or return to the base to replenish. The app is simple to use and intuitive and lets you see all the details of the cleaning.

2. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra

The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is the latest version of the company's top robot mop and vacuum. This year's model has an agitator that doubles as its mopping pad. This improves the cleaning capabilities of carpets with this model. The S8 Pro Ultra has an improved suction power that enables it to remove smaller hairs as well as other debris other robotic cleaners might miss.

This Roborock model, like the other two models I tested is equipped with infrared and 3D obstacle avoidance technology that helps it get around obstacles like furniture, walls, and other obstacles. The S8 Pro Ultra goes one step further by incorporating a dual-camera that can identify objects, and determine if they're walls or other surfaces. It then can alter its direction automatically and clean the objects without stumbling.

This is the most expensive of the three models I've reviewed but it's also feature-packed. Its sleek and angular design is eye catching, and it only has three buttons that are physically accessible. The power button, which also restarts the cleaning, a mop button that doubles as a child lock and a home-button that can bring the robot to its dock. The hinged lid opens up to reveal a 350ml trash bin and 200ml tank of water. The water tank is automatically filled and the bin auto-refills.

The only issue I have discovered with this model was that its VibraRise mop pad mount is not removable. Although you can change the mopping cloth (if it's required), it's a pain to take off the mount to wash manually. I've noticed that any carpet that the best robot cleaner touches will be in contact with the rough Velcro like fastener system on the mounts, which can cause scratches.

The S8 Pro Ultra is equipped with a range of clever features that include support for Google Home and Amazon Alexa. The Roborock app is where you can manage and set up these smart features. It also includes maps and advanced mopping options. The app lets you schedule cleanings and monitor battery life. However, you'll have to go through a few hoops in order to enable voice control on this model which is unfortunate considering how well it performs otherwise.

The X40 is easy to clean and has numerous features that make it an ideal option for busy families. The docking station will automatically empty the dustbin and wash mop pads before refilling them with fresh cleaning solution and water. It also can detect whether the mop pad is at its maximum capacity and notify you of the situation prior to it bursting.

4. L20 Ultra

The L20 Ultra is a high-end robot hoover and mop that's one of the most expensive available however, it comes with numerous extra features that set it apart. Smart DuoScrub, which is a new feature in its mops, uses two mop heads with high-speed motors to scrub floors more thoroughly. It also has a suction force of 7,000Pa. This is more than that of the Roborock S8 Pro Ultra or Ecovacs Deebot T20 Omni and can remove pet hair and fwme.eu other small dirt particles - as well as picking up spills and wet spots.

The mops are cleaned and dried at the base station every time they are used. This is a great feature because it stops mould and unpleasant odours from accumulating in storage. It's a bit heavier at 4kg than some of the other robots listed on this list however it's not excessively heavy. It feels solid and well-built. The mopping design is also excellent, and the double rotating mop works well on hard floors as well as in corners. They can also reach down to 2mm baseboards thanks to the MopExtend feature, which is a nice addition.
