item upgrading - More, allows players to upgrade their weapons and equipment with new affixes, increasing its stats base or providing additional benefits. To upgrade an item, a player has to have it in their inventory as well as access to the kiln.

Usually items that have weak bases (like rings) can be upgraded to a stronger base, while objects with strong bases, such as Eth titans don't change much in their stats after being upgraded.

Upgrade components

Upgrade components can be added to armors, weapons, trinkets, and gathering tools. They give you an attribute bonus, or an additional benefit, while the equipment is in use. They can be bought from vendors, found in loot from enemies, or received from chests and missions. Some upgrades have additional cosmetic effects. Most upgrades require that the equipment be at a certain level before you can upgrade.

To upgrade an armor, weapon or other item in the game, players will need to select it and then click the Upgrade button in the toolbar. The preview will appear on the right side of the screen that shows what the expected upgrade statistics will be, as well as the necessary element or material required to complete the upgrade.

There are three kinds: universal upgrades (which include gems) Prefix upgrades and suffix upgrade components. Universal upgrades, which comprise gems, are able to be used in any type of equipment and provide smaller bonuses than upgrade components that are restricted to a specific type. Leveling

Path of Exile's upgrade system differs from previous versions in several fundamental ways. Gear is now classified into tracks and each item can be upgraded a certain number of times before it is "leveled out." The upgrade cost increases with each level up however the materials required don't increase as much. This allows players to focus their efforts on a select few items and item upgrading maximize the effect of those items, rather than spreading the cost of upgrades across several pieces.

This allows the item to receive new upgrade components and a higher chance of success. This bonus is known as the Artisan's Energy, and it resets to 0 in the event of failure, or increases when the upgrade succeeds.

When a piece of equipment is upgraded to its highest level, it will be able to receive affixes that will enhance its capabilities. The amount of affixes available will depend on the item's kind. For instance an uncommon or exclusive weapon with a standard base will only have two affixes, while a legend armor will have eight affixes.

Each upgrade requires an amount of Flightstones and crests to complete based on the current level of the item and the slot it's in. Typically, weapons will require more Flightstones to upgrade than other types of equipment.

If an item upgrades does not attain its maximum level, the NPC gives the player the choice to transfer it to a different character and then re-infuse it with a new set or upgrades. The process can take as long as two hours and will cost the same amount of materials but will have less chance of success.

To determine the height of a structure engineers use an instrument to compare the measurement with an established reference point, like a benchmark, or the elevation of the ground. This process is called a "level loop." It involves taking readings using the backsight rod and the level, then turning the level to make the foresight rod reading. Rerolling

Rerolling refers to the process of altering the upgrade components of an item. To determine if a product is worth upgrading, players must click the Upgrade button on the screen of their character. The item will be displayed with its features, as well as the items needed to upgrade it.
