Diablo 4 Item Upgrades

Items that are upgraded are components that can be inserted into weapons, armor and trinkets to give a bonus. They usually have an increased cost and require the item to be at a certain level.

Glyphs allows you to insert symbols into your text. You can select from the menu on the left of the screen. Blueprints are envelopes that appear at the beginning of each Preparation phase. They can be opened using Grab. Each blueprint has a unique icon, with each category of upgradeable items displaying different icons:

Some recipes require the use of certain ingredients or appliances which can be obtained by choosing the Franchise Card from the Blueprint Desk. Some Appliances and Inputs are staples, meaning that they won't be available in the Shop or on rerolls, while others have a greater chance of being available when an appropriate franchise card is selected at the Blueprint Desk. The Staple Pool is where all items will remain for the duration of the game. When purchased from the Blueprint Desk, Best item upgrade non-staple equipment is also transferred to the Seed Pool.

Recycled Items

The magic happens with the third "R," recycling. When you recycle a product made from recycled materials you're not just creating a better environment, but you are also giving the item upgrading new life. This is because the majority of items that are recycled are returned to their manufacturer who originally made the Best item upgrade to be remanufactured to create a new product.
