World of Warcraft - Item Upgrading

The item upgrade allows players to boost the gear rating of an item up 700 points and also add a final bonus. Items can be upgraded if they're in your inventory and you decide to take them to the kiln.

Certain items can be upgraded for their unique stats (like a perfectly rolled breakpoint armour used in melee PvP) and others, like weapons, do not change significantly after an upgrade and thus aren't worth upgrading.

Weapons

Upgrades to weapons can improve their numerical stats, such as attack damage, crit probability and PvE/PvP damage. They also have an unchanging bonus that increases the damage they deal per second. In addition, many weapons have an added bonus that is activated when three or more of the same weapon are present on a single unit. In certain instances, this bonus could amount to more than the amount of damage a weapon is able to upgrade by itself.

The cost of upgrading a weapon varies on its rarity and level. For instance, a +2 weapon will require two standard Smithing Stones while a+3 requires four. The number of stones required to upgrade a weapon will increase until it needs a higher level of Smithing Stones. At that point, it will reset back to one.

The upgrade of weapons can also change their base stats. While this is usually an excellent thing, it can have some negative consequences too. For items that only see use in a particular build (Whistant's shield for FB Sorcs, for example) upgrading them can render them useless unless you have an extremely lucky roll.

Armor items can be upgraded to improve their stats. This can boost the defense base of a helm or chest, while belts and gloves will increase their required strength and agility. Armor has a rerolling option for its Enhanced Defense percent. This means that it can sometimes reroll down to a lower value.

The upgrade template for a weapon will display the new stats that it will gain upon upgrading, along with their relative values. This means that the weapon will gain an attack damage of 3% if it is upgraded from an 8 attack damage sword to an 11 attack damage sword. However the 3% difference doesn't mean that it will strike for 3 times less often because it's an absolute number.

Rerolling a weapon can be possible by pressing the green button on the item menu, using the arrows that circle. This will reroll an item upgrade and alter its stats, but not reset the weapon's levels, or bind it to account status.

Armor

Adding a few upgrades to your armor can make a a huge difference in your capacity to withstand. Certain sets can offer MASSIVE boosts to poison or curse, fire or magic resistance, making traversing tough areas a breeze. In general, the greater defense your character has the more value you will get from every point of health therefore it is important to improve your armor as much as you can.

To upgrade your armor, head to one of the Great Fairy Fountains in the game. There are four Great Fairy Fountains available in the game and in order to unlock each one you have to complete an additional quest involving the Stable Trotters. After you've completed the main side quest and mastered the fountain that corresponds and then you can contact any Great Fairy to open up the menu for upgrading your armor.

Each piece of armor can be upgraded up to three levels and the amount of materials and Rupees needed for each level will differ. In general, you're looking at anywhere between three Red Chuchu Jellies and 10 Rupees for the first upgrade, and then anywhere from five Rubies and ten Fire-Breath Lizalfos Horns for each subsequent one. The Champion Leathers, for instance can be upgraded to a 5 defense rating, which allows you to stay ahead in cold environments with a lot of adversaries. The Snowquill Headdress, on the other is able to be upgraded to +20 defense so that you're able to withstand a rout with your friends.

It's important to note that armor cannot be upgraded in the same way as weapons, so you'll have to work on upgrading it for physical power if you're a Warrior or Spell Power if you're Mage. It's also a good idea to save your armor upgrades for armor you'll still be wearing at the end of the game, such as the Ring of Lightning and Spectral Shield, or the helmet you use to fight the final boss as well as the Monter Parts merchant's mask.

You can also unlock some perks for your armor by giving the jeweler in Gerudo Town 10 Twinkling Titanite. Generally, you'll want to keep these upgrades for the weapon you'll be using to beat the game, like the Longsword, Battleaxe or Warhammer, but it can be beneficial to have a few improvements to the helmets and chest armor that allow you to stealth around certain monsters.

Potions

Potions are liquids that, when consumed by the player, provide an immediate effect for a short period of time. There are five kinds of potions with different effects and durations. Some potions can be upgraded to increase their level of effectiveness. In addition, the effects of some potions can be enhanced by adding redstone or glowstone dust them.

Upgrades to potion cost a certain amount of XP, which can be earned by crafting them using a craft table or in the chest of the Alchemist. The price of upgrades varies based on the type of potion used and the item upgrader's rarity as well as Mark Level.

To upgrade a potions, item upgrade right-click it in your inventory. Select "Upgrade" from the menu. This will open an GUI that lets you select the potions that you would like to upgrade and the amount of experience they'll provide when upgraded. You can upgrade potions in batches of up to five at a time and their XP will be added to the total XP you currently have.

Once a potion is upgraded in quality, it will not deteriorate unless you take it out again or break the bottle within the container it is stored. Clicking on the potion in your inventory will allow you to rename it.

There were a few changes to potion mechanics in version 1.7.2. For instance, splash potions now have an average duration of 0.08 seconds (this is not the same as the 22.5 seconds displayed on the hover display of the item). The table for potion is now made of four Wood Planks, and two Glass. This allows it to be utilized by players in Survival and Bedrock. Unlike the Java Edition, Bedrock edition potions are not able to be mixed in cauldrons. Also, putting a potion in a cauldron that is full drains the liquid and replenishes the bottle.

In addition, there are lingering potions that are made with splash and dragon breath potions. Similarly, a lingering potions' effect is extended by adding redstone. The table of potions is laid out more in line with the Java Edition, and new potions were introduced, including the potion of leaping and the decomposition potion, as well as turtle master potions.

Trinkets

A trinket is a tiny and cheap ornament or piece of jewelry. It could also refer to an object or ornament that serves a function but is not important such as a Thimble. In certain traditions, trinkets are used to signify affection or friendship, specifically between family members.

Players can upgrade trinkets in addition to weapons, armor, and potions. Upgrades can be purchased by paying the appropriate currency to an upgrade vendor. Unlike other Best item upgrade upgrades trinkets, trinkets can be exchanged at will without losing their stats.

The upgrade vendors are found in major cities and in the capital of each zone, as well as in some cases, dungeons. Upgrades for trinkets can be purchased using tokens, gold, or fragments from a rare trinket.

Upgrades are a cheaper alternative to buying a brand new trinket. A player can upgrade a trinket with as little 12 tokens. The new trinket will have the same base level as the old trinket, but will also have an additional bonus of 1% upgrade.

Once the old Trinkets are no longer usable they can be upgraded. This allows players to increase both their power and value with time. They can also be traded between players which makes them an extremely popular alternative to gold.

Players must upgrade their most valuable items first. This means that the most-important slot items for each class are upgraded first before their secondary gear, and then other pieces of equipment they will not replace anytime soon (such as rings or cloaks). When choosing which items to upgrade, players should also take into account the class's preferred stats. For instance, if Haste and Crit are the two most important stats for a tank, they should be focusing on upgrading their helm, chest shoulders, belt, and helm.

Trinkets can be re-upgraded to a higher ilvl once they're no longer needed, and the new trinket will receive an additional bonus of 1% for upgrading. However, a re-upgrade can ruin the previous trinket until it is salvaged with a Black Lion Salvage Kit or an alternative salvage tool that is higher-end. Upgrades to trinkets are more expensive than other upgrades, but still less expensive than purchasing a new one.
