It packs a powerful 4600mAh battery that lasts for up to 170-minutes if mopping and suction are set to standard mode (it is able to run longer in turbo). It can even return to its dock to replenish its battery in mid-clean.

It's efficient and does an outstanding job of cleaning my two-bedroom apartment. It can vacuum carpeted rooms fast, and hardwood floors in the kitchen, living room and hallways with only one sweep. Its 8,000pa motor is able to remove dirt, pet hair, and droppings easily. Carpet detection increases power automatically when it comes into contact with rugs, and the two side brushes help to tease out dirt from corners.

The mopping performance is a little less impressive, though not by much. The mop's rotating motor spins at a high velocity and it pushes down with 2.2lbs of force, effortlessly cleaning up dirt and staining. I've also noticed that the front arms protrude out a bit more than other robots, which can be helpful to get into tight corners and along baseboards. The front arms can also be used to scoop up larger pieces of debris, such as books and toys that have been damaged.

The S1 Pro is also one of the quietest robot mop and vacuums I've used. It doesn't produce the same amount of noise while vacuuming or mopping and is much quieter than the Narwal Freo X Ultra or RoboRock S7. The S1 Pro is only limited by the fact that it needs to use a mopping solution that is proprietary and is sold separately. It's easy to install and is effective however this is something you'll have to keep an eye on in case you're purchasing this vacuum solely for the purpose of it mopping.

The X1 Omni is the most expensive robot vacuum that mops in our review, however it also has distinct features that are worth taking into consideration. The X1 Omni's main draw is its massive dock, which doubles as a charging base and housing for two 4 liter water tanks, a clean sink as well as a 2.5-liter dust bin that automatically eliminates.

The X1 Omni looks great, thanks to the Jacob Jensen design team (of Bang & Olufsen fame) who designed its sleek modern, contemporary base and mopping pad. It's a big contrast to the basic black bases of competitors like Roborock or iRobot. And it's a welcome sight for a market dominated by clunky boxes.
