World of Warcraft Upgrades and Item Upgrading

Upgrades can increase the value of armors, weapons and rings. They also increase bonuses such as crit chance and PvE damage.

For example a weapon that has the upgrade template that ends in % will suffer an attack damage of 3% each time it is upgraded (relative to its previous value).

Item upgrading costs crests and the item's current level. The cost increases as the level of the item rises.

Components

Upgrade components are items that can be inserted into armor, weapons and trinkets in order to provide an extra stat boost or effect while they're in use. They can be obtained by crafting, purchasing from vendors trading, or looting. Certain upgrades come with special cosmetic effects.

Upgrade components can be inserted into any equipment with a slot for them; the item must be at the very least upgraded to blue level for a component to be applied. In contrast to other mods components can only be used once and can't be used multiple times or replaced with new upgrades. Infusions and enrichments are a particular type of upgrade component that is designed for non-amulet ascended and legendary equipment, as well as some of the non-ascended back items. Enrichments and Infusions can be obtained by salvaging equipment that is ascended or completing a quest in the Prophecies, Factions, and Nightfall campaigns.

A prefix or suffix can be added to an upgrade, changing the name of the item it is used on (for example 'Canthan Armor Insignia,' is changed to Canthan Armor Minor Vigor). Certain upgrades can increase the Mark Rarity or Level of an item, which lets players create stronger versions with fewer Upgrade crystals than they would need to reach the same level with normal methods.

A boost upgrade can alter the attack or defense attributes of an armored weapon or. These upgrades can be made using the Portative Forging Station once the player has completed the cutscene and defeats the Crazed mechanic. These upgrades can be obtained by purchasing them in the cash shop or collecting them from enemies when upgrading other equipment.

Each upgrade increases the probability that a higher-tier version of the item will be available in the next reset. This gives players an incentive to upgrade their equipment even if they are unsure how much it can be improved upon a reset.

Whether a boost upgrade is successful or not, item upgrading the process may be expensive, and there is a high chance that the item could become obsolete or even break when it fails. A failure to upgrade can destroy Upgrade Crystals and Assist Powder as well as the upgraded item. This is alleviated by the availability cash shop items that increase or even eliminate the chances of failure, and a few upgrades that give the benefit of being reinserted into an item.

Glyphs

Glyphs are upgrade elements that can be inserted into special sockets on the Paragon Board. Glyphs increase the power of nodes within a radius, which includes any existing affixes. Glyphs are upgraded in many ways, and we suggest getting them to level 15 as soon as you can.

You'll often see in the endgame that putting Glyphs is the most effective method to upgrade your equipment. They are the only upgrade component that can be upgraded straight to level 15, and they provide an enormous boost to your power and radius on the Paragon Board, enabling you to get higher nodes faster.

The majority of upgrades in the game can be replaced however, Glyphs are only the one upgrade component that can be removed and re-placed without restrictions. The only exception is legendary equipment, which requires the use of a Black Lion Salvage Kit to salvage and then re-install.

The value of each Glyph is displayed when you select it in your inventory. You can replace it with a Glyph that is of the same or higher rank to boost the value of the Glyph.

Glyphs can be found in the Black Lion Trading Post as part of the Gem Store bundle or purchase them with certain tools that are unlimited in use, and during Faction Crypt Raids. Each Faction Crypt can drop one of these Glyphs. There are also some rare glyphs you can find in any of the Faction Crypts.

Once you have obtained the desired Glyphs, you will have to put them on your gear. Each Glyph unlocks a unique bonus that will boost the stats of a particular set of nodes within a radius around the Glyph. It can be +40 for one of your primary stats or +25 for two of your secondary stats, based on the Glyph.

Glyphs boost all nodes that are connected to them, so it is Best item upgrade to put Glyphs in the most important locations on the Graph. This will increase the impact. Druids, for instance should put their Glyphs close to their primary damage nodes. They might also want to consider placing them near their critical damage nodes.

Leveling

The item upgrader kit upgrading system lets players increase the effectiveness of certain items by placing upgraded components in them. This is referred to as "upping". Each upgradeable item is assigned a level which determines the final statistics. Upgraded items can be upgraded until they reach a maximum level of ilvl 385. Each level of an item requires a different number of components to reach and the cost of upgrading increase as the item is advanced in level.

Some upgrades require a special ingredient to activate. This ingredient is obtained from the completion of Upgrade Recipes. These recipes can be purchased from NPCs or found on the upgrade tab of a crafting table. Each Upgrade Recipe that is completed results in a certain amount of Technology points. These points can be used to level the item, and once enough points have been earned, the upgrade can be claimed and any additional bonuses will be added to the item.

When the player upgrade an item the original Best item upgrader will be replaced with an item upgrades that is new. This means that the same armor piece will become an weapon or shield once upgraded. The new item also has its own set of bonuses. This could be a disadvantage since the item may be more expensive even if you do not need it.

If the player has enough tokens, they can roll the upgrade of their item. The item will be replaced by a brand new one that has a level 1 basis and totally different bonuses. This is useful for certain items, but it shouldn't be done regularly, as it can waste lots of resources.

Certain upgrades can increase their value, allowing players to customize their equipment. Dolphin's Gift is a good example, as it gives a buff if the player repeatedly enters or exits water. The item can be upgraded multiple times by increasing the maximum roll each time by 10 increments. This item is extremely useful in PvP. A properly rolled version can be worth up to 50x the value of a unupgraded counterpart.

Requirements

Item upgrading allows players to upgrade the level of their available equipment--armor, weapons, and trinkets that are above ilvl 385 by providing the appropriate items and currencies to an NPC who upgrades items. Upgrading armor set pieces will also increase the defense base of the piece, whereas upgrading weapon equipment will increase the base damage and required strength and dexterity to meet the upgraded equipment's requirements.

Each item can be upgraded up to five times, except for hero gear that can be upgraded up to eight times. Each each time you upgrade an item it is given the chance to fail. The failure rate increases the more you go over the maximum amount of upgrades. Failures will cause the item to return to its original condition, which requires the player to spend additional materials than if they had stopped upgrading after the maximum number.

If an item fails to upgrade the amount of experience in its growth bar is reset to zero. The item also loses any bonuses it gained, such as the chance to crit damage to attack, other effects (such as a higher healing rate over time or the speed of reloading). The player will be able to use their weapon or armor even after the failure.

Whenever an item is upgraded the upgrades are applied from lowest to highest. This means that if a weapon gains an increase in the chance of crit the increase is applied before any increase in attack damage. A new attribute called Slots has been added to the item's definition and the value is computed each time an upgrade is applied.

The amount of resources needed to upgrade an item is determined on the rarity rating and number of upgrade slots. The cost for upgrading non-premium items is equal to the base value of the upgrade. For instance, a typical equipment item might have 5 upgrades with a cost of 25,600 Technology Points and 4x Quality Improvement Chance. Hero grade items will come with a much lower cost for each additional upgrade.

Premium items have different requirements for upgrading than standard gear--for instance, they may require fewer sowels, but they will require more minerals and erons. Players will still have to take every piece of equipment they want to upgrade to the NPC [ArmorBoboko. Boboko located in Central Flarine. In addition to the upgrade costs mentioned above, each equipment upgrade requires the use of different ingredients needed to upgrade.
