The Combo includes many of the same smarts that the J7 Plus includes, such as an the onboard acoustic sensor for determining the floor type and AI-powered Navigation, however it lacks the ability control suction power using a hand. It's also slightly less compact than the vac-only version and doesn't have a a self-emptying dock.

The Combo is one of my favorite options for homes with a lot of space. Its elegant design is also among the most attractive I've seen in the industry. The sleek matte black plastic appears better than most competitors' metallic or glossy finishes, and iRobot's little touches--like a leather tab to open the onboard bin and a shelf within the dock that can hold additional bags--are classier than a lot of its rivals'. The iRobot Combo makes it easy to create maps and set up Keep-Out Zones.

While Roborock is relatively new to the robot vacuum mop cleaner robot and mop market, it's already made its name due to its suite of innovative cleaning techniques. The brand's vacuums have industry-leading suction, and its mopping systems use vibrating mops to keep floors of dust. Plus, a wide range of mapping and scheduling options lets you adjust the cleaning schedule of the bot to your home's specific needs.

Another impressive Roborock feature is the obstacle avoidance which allows the robot to see objects that are lower than its height. This is particularly useful for Roborock's most popular models, like the Qrevo Master. It is the best in its class in terms of navigation, thanks to vSLAM and LiDAR. Other robovacs have been reported to run over pet waste and slam furniture, without even noticing. The Qrevo Master, however, solves this issue by utilizing an AI system called Reactive that uses dual cameras to perceive objects within the room.

Roborock robots come with a range of convenience features to cut down on maintenance. These include docks that can be automatically empty, and mop washing stations with multiple functions. They can remove the need to empty the dustbins manually and wash mops, making for an entirely hands-free ownership experience. It isn't able to lift its mop to clean carpets and rug as well as the Roborock S8 MaxV ultra, but it is very good in cleaning hard floors. It has a self emptying bin, a high level of suction, a range of mopping options, and a high-quality app that works both on iOS and Android.

It's smaller than the competition and its main brush is shorter than others, but it did a great job of making short work of our test room with ease. The revolving edge brush on the side is a nice addition. Although it didn't get rid of dirt as well as other competitors, it did a good job.

The individual cleaning parameters can be set up for each room and the robot will create detailed maps of rooms using built-in LiDAR navigation. The application is simple to use and comes with a variety of voice output options that can keep you informed of the condition of your robot. Regular software updates enhance and extend the performance. The app is able to remotely control the RCV3 even when you're away from home.
