World of Warcraft Upgrades and Item Upgrading

Upgrades can increase the value of armors, weapons and rings. Upgrades can also boost bonuses like crit chance and PvE Damage.

For instance, a weapon with the upgrade template that ends in % will suffer an attack damage of 3% each time it upgrades (relative to its previous value).

Item upgrading costs crests and the current level of the item. The cost rises with item's level.

Components

Upgrade components are items that can be inserted into armor, weapons and trinkets in order to provide a stat bonus or extra effect while they're in use. These can be obtained by crafting, purchasing from vendors, trading with other players, or looting. Certain upgrades also come with special cosmetic effects.

Upgrade components can be inserted into equipment that has a slot for them; the item must have been at the very least upgraded to blue level to allow a component to be applied. Upgrade components, unlike other mods can only be applied only once. They cannot be replaced or applied multiple times. Infusions and Enrichments are a type of upgrade component that is used to upgrade non-amulet legendary or ascending equipment, as as some non-ascended items. Infusions and enrichments can be obtained by salvaging equipment that is ascended or completing a mission in the Prophecies, Factions, and Nightfall campaigns.

An upgrade may have a prefix or suffix changing the name of the equipment with the upgrade (for instancefor example 'Canthan Armor Insignia is changed to Canthan Armor of Minor Vigor). Some upgrades boost an item's Mark Level or Rarity, allowing players create stronger versions of the equipment using the smallest amount of Upgrade Crystals than are required to reach the same level of upgrade using normal methods.

A 'boost upgrade' can modify the attack or defense properties of a weapon, or armor. These upgrades are available to be made using the Portative Forging Station once the player has completed the cutscene, and defeats the Crazed Mechanic. These upgrades can be purchased by purchasing them from the cash shop or collecting them from enemies when upgrading other gear.

Each upgrade increases the probability that a higher tier version of the item will be revealed during the next reset. This gives players an incentive to upgrade their equipment even in the event that they don't know how much it will be improved following the reset.

If a boost upgrade is successful or not, the process could be costly and there is a significant chance that the item could be obsolete or even break if it fails. A unsuccessful upgrade could cause the destruction of the Upgrade Crystals and Assist Powder, as well as the upgraded item. This is mitigated by the availability of cash shop items that increase or even eliminate the chance of failure, and a few upgrades that give the benefit of being reinserted into an item.

Glyphs

Glyphs can be used to enhance the Paragon Board by placing them in special sockets. Glyphs increase the power of all nodes within the area around them and include pre-existing affixes to equipment. Glyphs are upgraded in a variety of ways, and we recommend getting them to level 15 as soon as possible.

It is commonplace to see in the endgame that placing Glyphs is a great way to upgrade your equipment. They are the only upgrade component that can be upgraded to level 15 and offer an enormous boost to your power on the Paragon Board.

Glyphs, which is the only upgrade component which can be removed without restriction and replaced with no restrictions are the most popular. Only legendary equipment can be salvaged and re-placed by using the help of a Black Lion Salvage Kit.

Each Glyph has a specific range of values can enhance a stat by. The value is shown when you select the Glyph in your inventory. You can replace it with another Glyph with the same rank, or a higher rank, which will boost the overall value of the Glyph.

Glyphs can be found in the Black Lion Trading Post as part of the Gem Store bundle or purchase the glyphs with certain tools that allow unlimited use as well as during Faction Crypt Raids. Each Faction Crypt could drop one of these Glyphs. There are some rare glyphs which you can find in any of the Faction Crypts.

After you have acquired the desired Glyphs you will require them to be put on your gear. Each Glyph unlocks a bonus that boosts the stats of a particular set of nodes within a radius around the Glyph. Based on the Glyph, upgrade items this will either be +40 to one of your primary stats or +25 to two of your secondary stats.

Using a Glyph will boost all the nodes connected to it, so it is recommended to position your Glyphs near key nodes on the Graph to maximize the impact. Druids, for example should position their Glyphs close to their primary damage nodes. They might also want to consider placing them near their primary damage nodes.

Leveling

The item upgrading system allows players to increase the performance of certain items by placing upgraded components in them. This is known as "upping". Each upgradeable item has a level that determines the final statistics. Upgraded items can be upgraded up to a maximum of 385. Each level of item requires different components, and the cost of upgrading increase with each level.

Certain upgrades require an ingredient to be activated. This ingredient is obtained from finishing Upgrade Recipes. These recipes can be found in the upgrade tab of a crafting table, or obtained from NPCs. Each Upgrade Recipe that is completed results in a certain amount of Technology points. These points can be used to level up the item. Once enough points are earned, the upgrade will be claimed and its additional bonuses will be added to the item.

When the player upgrade an item, the base item will be replaced with the new Best item upgrade. This means that the same armor piece will get a weapon or shield when upgraded. The new item will have a unique bonus. This can be a disadvantage because it can make the item more expensive if you don't need it.

If the player has enough tokens, they can roll item upgrades. This will cause the item to be exchanged for a new one, which will come with a level 1 base and a totally different set of bonuses. This can be useful for some items, but it shouldn't be done regularly, as it could waste a lot of resources.

Certain upgrades can boost their value and allow players to modify their gear. One example is Dolphin's Gift, which gives a buff when the player repeatedly enters and exits water (or swims like a dolphin). It can be upgraded multiple times, each time raising the max roll by 10 points. Requirements

Upgrades to armor set pieces boost the defense of the base set and weapon upgrades items increase their base damage and also increase their strength and dexterity.

Each item upgrader can be upgraded up to five times except for hero equipment, which can be upgraded eight times. Each when you upgrade an item it is given the chance to fail. The failure rate increases the more you go beyond the maximum amount of upgrades. Failures will cause the item to go back to its original state, which will force the user to spend more materials than they would have to had they stopped upgrading at the highest number of upgrades.

If an Best item upgrader is not able to upgrade, the amount of accumulated experience in its growth bar is reset to zero. The item also loses any bonuses it has gained, upgrade Items such as the chance to crit attack damage, additional effects (such as a higher healing rate over time or the speed of reloading). However, the player may still continue to use the weapon or armor after the failure.

When an item is upgraded the upgrades are applied from the lowest to the highest. This means that if a weapon receives a crit chance boost it will be applied before any attack damage increases. A new attribute called Slots has been added to the item's definition and the value is recomputed every time an upgrade is applied.

The amount of resources required to upgrade an item is based on the rarity rating and number of upgrade slots. The cost of upgrading non-premium equipment is equal to its base value. For instance, a common item might have five upgrades for a price of. 25,600 Technology Points and a 4x Quality Improvement Chance--whereas hero grade items will come with the lowest cost for each additional upgrade.

Premium items might have different upgrade requirements than standard gear. For example they may require fewer sowels, but more minerals and orons. Whatever the case, players will have to visit the NPC [Armorthe ] Boboko in Central Flarine with each piece of equipment they want to upgrade. Each upgrade to equipment will require different amounts of ingredients needed to upgrade, in addition to the costs mentioned above.
