WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades give you boost in specific stats. Each upgrade increases the level of an item by 3. A random extra substat is also added to every upgrade items.

The upgraded gear typically has a higher trade value, unless it has inherently low requirements (like the FB shield of the sorc) or very high stat variance (like the eth titan weapons). Upgrades are less valuable for the latter due to the requirement to roll a perfect version.

Recycle Points

The item upgrader lets players upgrade their gear by giving the currency to an NPC. Upgrades can be applied to any type of weapon or armor. However, the item upgrader mod used to upgrade will remain in use for a long time and cannot be used again. Upgrades can be applied to Enchantments.

You can upgrade your gear at any time by visiting the upgrader in any major city. It is recommended that you visit the upgrader at least once every few weeks, to keep your equipment up to date.

The cost of upgrading will be based on the current item level of the item being upgraded however, they will always be cheaper than purchasing new gear from other sources. Upgrades such as upgrading a Benthic chest up to 385 ilvl will cost you 20 recycle points. Buying a similar item upgrading level upgrade (click through the up coming post) will cost you 105.

Valorstones

Upgrades are items that can be used to purchase tools, armor, weapon, and accessory upgrades. They can be bought by players from NPCs who sell upgrades for items in exchange for a variety of currencies, and can be found in random treasure lists. Once an upgrade has been purchased it can be applied to any weapon or tool with an button, which will display an image of the item at its next upgrade level if the player has sufficient materials.

The cost of upgrading varies based on the item slot, and the current level of the item. For example weapons cost more than gloves, bracers or bracers. Each step costs 15 Flightstones plus a set number of crests. Some upgrades offer discounts on Flightstones. Once an item upgrading has been upgraded to a certain amount, it can be degraded and returned to the upgrader for a lower amount of the two currency types.

Upgraders for items are available in many places, including the main island and some outposts. The NPCs offer an upgrade coupon and a chance to obtain an entirely new recipe. The upgrade discount increases when more items are upgraded. It can also be increased by having players finish certain achievements or quests.

Icewind Dale does not have an upgrader for items at the start unlike Cromwell from Baldur's Gate II. The NPCs that can assist with upgrades are only available through a variety means. This is both a positive and a disadvantage.

In Season 3, the upgrade system was tweaked a bit, with some new features added. Once the player has upgraded to a specific level for an armor slot, upgrading other items to the same level will cost less. This applies regardless of whether the items are from another set of equipment.

The discount is available to all accounts. The amount of Harbinger Crests needed for upgrades is reduced too, but it is only available when certain milestones are reached.

Crests

Players have a variety of options when it comes to upgrading their gear in WoW. Flightstones are an option that is accessible to everyone who wants to upgrade. Crests are more special, and are used during specific item upgrader kit level upgrades. Crests are a key element of the Dragonflight gear progression system introduced in 10.1, and come in four ranks.

First, you must be aware that crests are only available for equipment that is of a particular rank. Each rank has an upgrade path that is different. The simplest and simplest upgrade process costs just 15 crests while the most complex requires as many as 20 crests based on the kind of gear being upgraded.

Players can earn crests by completing content at the appropriate level. This could be done by engaging in outdoor activities or completing dungeons and raids in any difficulty to earn lower-level gear or Mythicbosses for raids, or dungeons with a heroic difficulty for gear in the endgame. These crests can then be exchanged at an item upgrader NPC, such as Cuzolth in Dornogal, or Vaskarn in Valdrakken to get the appropriate upgrade pathways and steps.

The use of these currencies isn't too difficult, but the system does introduce some modifications to the upgrade process. For example, once an item is at the highest level of upgrade for any rank (Explorer, Adventurer, Veteran, Champion, Hero, item Level Upgrade or Mythic), it will no longer require Flightstones to be upgraded. This allows players to upgrade their equipment to the highest level possible on all their characters, instead of relying on seasonal loot.

Another important change is that crests have one use therefore it's essential to use them properly. It is best to use your Whelpling-rank crests on the best gear you can find and keep Drake and Wyrm Crests to be used for the next set of upgrades. This is particularly applicable to rings and trinkets that take up multiple slots on the character which can only be eligible to take advantage of the account-wide discount when all slots are filled with high-quality equipment.
