It also has mop lifter which lifts the pad automatically when it transitions between tile and laminate hardwood, carpet or rugs to avoid soaking the soft surfaces.

In addition, the S8 Pro Ultra has self-washing and self-drying features. The pad can be cleaned and heat-dried within the dock and the dust container is automatically emptied and returned to it. You can set it up and forget about it. It is only necessary to refill the water tank, or replace the dust bag on occasion.

All of this is powered by a lithium-ion 5,200mAh battery. I tested it with its standard vac and mop settings for around 160 minutes before the S8 Pro Ultra started to get power hungry and returned to its base to recharge. This isn't far off from the 180 minutes that Roborock claims and is on the same level with other hybrids I've tested.

It's a robust and well-rounded product with the only drawback being the fact that it's pricey. But, the sheer number of features makes it a very tempting option for anyone who wants to go away from their old stick vacuum and mop. We would highly recommend this vacuum if you can justify the cost.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra is a top-of-the-line robot vacuum and mop combination. The price is justified by the powerful features, such as a huge vacuuming capability, as well as two mop heads that gyrate. It also has a smart, app-enabled controller and powerful obstacle avoidance technology.

The L10S Ultra has a retail price of 999 Euros, which is among the highest robotic vacuum and mop combinations available. Unlike the other hybrid vacuum mops I tested and compared, the L10S Ultra doesn't offer advanced debris pickup performance on carpets. In addition it's not as efficient in removing staining that is as strong as those in the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra, which is the most expensive model. Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.

In spite of the L10S Ultra's top-of-the-line features, it requires regular care and maintenance. To prevent mildew or unpleasant odors, the base station dustbag, water and tanks need to be cleaned, emptied and dried regularly. The mop pads sold separately will also need to be changed periodically.

I would recommend the L10S Ultra to anyone with the budget. 3. Eufy S1 Pro

Eufy S1 Pro is the robot vacuum and mop that you need to clean up messes and get rid of dirt from your hard floors. This high-powered mop and robot vacuum combo comes with a strong 8,000 Pa of suction power and a huge battery capacity for both vacuuming and mowing and a top-of-the-line obstacle avoidance. It even comes with mop rollers that clean itself as it goes, which makes the S1 Pro stand out from other models that have to return to their base station mid-cleaning robot mop and vacuum to wash off the mop pad.

The S1 Pro has a unique mopping system that is different from the spinning discs and microfibre pads found in other robots. The roller covers the entire width of the robot, and it gets a constant supply of clean, ozonated filtered water from the dock. The roller scrubs the floor while taking in dirt. Dry debris is picked up with the side brushes, or swept up into the front bumper. The S1 Pro removes the dirty mop water in its base station, where it is sucked up by the heater elements of the tank and emptied into a larger storage container. The onboard tank can hold a substantial amount of water and can take on up to a dozen mopping sessions before being emptied out.

Like most robotic vacuums and mop sets like the S1 Pro is ready to roll out from the box. The S1 Pro will need to be refilled with clean water. This can be done using the cleaning dock. If you'd like to make use of your own cleaner you can include a cleaning solution to dock. If you opt for this option, however, you will need to buy the Eufy-branded cleaning solution, which is more costly than other robot brands that allow you to use your choice of cleaners.

Like many robots like it, the S1 Pro did well in accuracy in navigation and coverage tests. It was fast to map a room and it was able to navigate around furniture. The only issue is that it was stuck a couple of times on longer pile carpets and rugs in my tests however this could be rectified when the software is updated. The S1 Pro is an all-in-one robot that has a lot of functionality at a reasonable cost.

4. Roborock Qrevo

The Qrevo is Roborock's cheapest mop and vacuum. However, it still offers some impressive features. The dock's multifunction emptying the robot's dirtbag and refilling its water tanks, as well as washing and sanitizing mop pads is performed by the dock. The mopping system itself is capable cleaning a large portion of an area before it has to return to its dock and the vacuum's high suction is capable of picking up debris and pet hair from carpets.

The application that runs this appliance is complex, with a broad choice of options for customizing the cleaning process. The Reactive Tech hazard avoidance system works fairly well, too although it's not as sophisticated as the color camera system on the Qrevo Master or the S8 Pro Ultra. It is able to detect dangers like carpets that are thick, but it may not be able detect smaller objects such as electrical wires or rug tassels.

This device has a major problem: it doesn't include a mop option after vacuuming. This could be a problem for those who regularly vacuum before using their robot. There's an easy solution: the app has an option that allows you to "clean up" at the end of every vacuuming session.
