World of Warcraft Upgrades and Item Upgrading

Upgrades can boost the value of certain numeric stats on armor, weapons and rings. They also boost extra bonuses like damage from PvE and crit chance.

If the template for upgrading a weapon is in %, the weapon will increase an additional 3% of the previous damage every time it's upgraded.

The cost of upgrading an item is determined by the item's level. The cost rises with item's level.

Components

Upgrade components can be incorporated into trinkets, weapons and item Upgrader mod armor in order to give them a boost in stats or add a bonus effect. They can be acquired through crafting, purchasing from vendors, trading or item upgrader mod looting. Some upgrades can also be accompanied by special cosmetic effects.

Upgrade components can be inserted into equipment with a slot for them. The item level upgrade must have been at a minimum upgraded to blue level in order for the component to be used. Unlike other mods, upgrade components can only be used once; they can't be used multiple times or replaced with upgrades. Infusions and enrichments are a specific kind of upgrade component used for non-amulet ascended and legendary equipment and some of the items that are not ascending back. Infusions and enrichments can be recovered by salvaging ascended gear or completing an elite task in the Prophecies, Factions and Nightfall campaigns.

An upgrade can have a prefix or suffix changing the name of the equipment with which it is applied (for instance "Canthan Armor Insignia' becomes Canthan Armor of Minor Vigor). Certain upgrades can increase the Mark Rarity or Level of an item, which lets players to create stronger versions using fewer Upgrade crystals than they would require to reach the same level with normal methods.

A boost upgrade can alter the attack or defence attributes of an armored weapon or. These upgrades can be made from the Portative Forging Station once the player has completed the cutscene and defeats the Crazed mechanic. These upgrades can be obtained by purchasing them from the cash shop or getting them from enemies while upgrading other gear.

The player is able to have up to five boost upgrades at one time. Each upgrade increases the probability that a better-quality version of the item upgrader mod will be available at the time of the next reset. This gives the player some incentive to continue upgrading their gear, even if they're unsure of how much it will increase after a future reset.

The process of upgrading an item can be expensive, and it is possible that the item will be obsolete or even break when the upgrade fails. Upgrade Crystals and assist powders are also destroyed when the upgrade fails. This is alleviated by the availability cash shop items that can increase or even eliminate the chance of failure, as well as some upgrades that provide a bonus when reinserted into an item.

Glyphs

Glyphs can be used to upgrade the Paragon Board by placing them in sockets with special functions. Glyphs increase the power of all nodes in a radius around them, including pre-existing affixes on equipment. Glyphs can be upgraded in a variety of ways. We suggest upgrading them as soon as possible up to 15 levels.

You'll often see in the endgame that putting Glyphs is a great way to upgrade your equipment. They are the only upgrade components that can be upgraded straight to level 15 and offer a large boost to your power and radius on the Paragon Board, enabling you to get higher nodes more quickly.

The majority of upgrades in the game can be replaced but Glyphs are the only upgrade component that can be removed and re-placed without restrictions. Only legendary equipment can be salvaged and rebuilt with the help of a Black Lion Salvage Kit.

The value of each Glyph is displayed when you choose it in your inventory. You can replace it with a different Glyph with the same rank, or a higher rank, which will boost the value of the glyph.

There are Glyphs in the Black Lion Trading Post, as part of a Gem Store purchase or bundle with certain tools for gathering unlimited use, and through Faction Crypt raids. Every Faction Crypt can drop one of these Glyphs. There are some rare glyphs that you can find in any of the Faction Crypts.

Once you have obtained the desired Glyphs you will need them to be placed on your equipment. Each Glyph unlocks a unique bonus which will boost the stats of a specific set of nodes within a radius around the Glyph. It could be +40 for one of your primary stats, or +25 for two of your secondary stats depending on the Glyph.

Glyphs will increase the number of nodes connected to them, so it is recommended to place Glyphs in strategic spots on the Graph. This will maximize the impact. For instance, a Druid should try to position their Glyphs near their primary damage points, but also consider placing them near critical damage nodes, too.

Leveling

The upgrade system for items allows players to increase the effectiveness of certain items by inserting upgraded components. This is known as "upping". Each upgradeable item is assigned a level that determines the final stats. Upgraded items may be leveled up to a maximum of 385. Each item level requires various components, and upgrade costs increase with each level.

Certain upgrades require an ingredient to be activated. This ingredient is obtained by finishing Upgrade Recipes. These recipes can be bought from NPCs, or on the upgrade tab in a crafting table. Each Upgrade Recipe completed will result in a certain amount of Technology points. These points can be used to level up the item, and when enough points are earned, the upgrade can be claimed and its additional bonuses will be added to the item.

When the player upgrades an item to a higher level, the original item is replaced with a different item of the same kind. This means that the same piece of armor will be transformed into a weapon or shield when upgraded. The new item will also have a unique bonus. This could be a drawback in that it could make the item more expensive, even if you don't need it.

Upgrades to items can be rerolled, provided that the player has enough tokens to do so. This will cause the item to be traded for a new one, which will come with the level 1 base, and a totally different set of bonuses. This can be useful for some items, but it's not something that should be performed frequently, since it can use up lots of resources.

Certain upgrades can be rerolled multiple times to increase their value, giving players the ability to alter their equipment. Dolphin's Gift is a good example, since it grants an increase in power if the player continuously enters or exits water. This item can be upgraded multiple times, increasing the maximum roll each time by 10 increments. This item is very important in PvP. A well-rolled version can be worth up to 50x the value of its non-upgraded counterpart.

Requirements

The upgrader for items allows players to raise the level of their equippable equipment (armor weapons, armor trinkets, and armor) beyond ilvl385 by handing over the appropriate currency to the NPC. Upgrades to armor set pieces also improve the strength of their base defense and weapon upgrades items increase the damage they deal and also increase their strength and dexterity.

Each item can be upgraded up to five times, with the exception for hero equipment, which can be upgraded eight times. Every time you upgrade an item it has an opportunity to fail. The rate of failure increases as you go over the maximum amount of upgrades. Failures can result in the item returning to its original condition and the player having to purchase more items than if they stopped upgrading after the maximum number.

If an item fails to upgrade the amount of experience in its growth bar is reset to zero. In addition the item will be deducted any bonuses it gained such as crit chance, attack damage, as well as all additional effects associated with that effect (for instance, an increase in heal over time or the speed of reloading). The player is able to use their weapon or armor after the failure.

When an Item upgrader mod is upgraded the upgrades are applied from lowest to highest. This means that, when a weapon gains an increase in crit chance the increase is applied before any increase in attack damage. Slots is a brand new attribute that has been added to item definitions. The value is calculated every time an upgrade occurs.

The amount of resources required to upgrade an item are dependent on its rarity score and the number of upgrade slots. The cost of upgrading non-premium products is equal to the base value of the upgrade--for instance, a standard equipment item upgrader might have 5 upgrades with a cost of 25,600 Technology Points and a 4x Quality Improvement Chance--whereas hero grade items will have a much lower cost for each upgrade.

Premium items have different upgrade requirements as compared to standard equipment, for instance, they may require fewer sowels but more minerals and erons. However, players will have to visit the NPC [Armorthe ] Boboko in Central Flarine with each piece of equipment they wish to upgrade. Each upgrade of equipment requires different amounts of upgrade ingredients in addition to the cost that are listed above.
