WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades give a guaranteed boost to certain stats. Each upgrade boosts the level of an item by 3. A random substat is also added to each upgrade.

Upgraded gear is generally more valuable, unless it has low requirements by nature (like FB sorc shields) or has a large variance in stats (like the eth Titan weapons). These types of gear get less value from upgrading due to the need to roll for a perfect model.

Recycle Points

The upgrader for items allows players to upgrade their gear to a higher item upgrades level by providing the appropriate currency to the NPC. Upgrades can be applied to any kind of armor or weapon. However, the item that is used for the upgrade will remain in use for a long time and cannot be used again. Upgrades can also be used to create enhancements.

The upgrader can be found in all major cities, and is accessible anytime to upgrade your gear. To ensure that your equipment is up-to-date it is recommended you visit the upgrader every several weeks.

Upgrades will cost more depending on the level of the item but they will always be cheaper than purchasing new equipment. For instance, upgrading a Benthic chest to 385 levels will cost 20 recycle points, purchasing a similar piece from a different player will cost 105.

Valorstones

Upgrades are items that can be used to improve the quality of weapons tools, armor, and accessories. A lot of locations offer upgraders for items which include the main island and some outposts. The NPCs provide both an upgrade discount and the chance to acquire a new upgrade recipe. The discount on upgrades increases according to the number of items that are being upgraded, and can be increased by having players complete specific achievements or complete quests.

Crests

Players have a variety of options when it comes to upgrading their equipment in WoW. Flightstones are an item that is available to everyone who wants to upgrade.
