Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades

Upgrades can increase the power of a piece of gear and sometimes even its extras. The worth of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements and the number of random augmentations used.

For instance, the premium racial shield Razortail is often upgraded to enhance its lightning absorb ability in PvP or to provide additional defenses on missile based builds in PvM. This makes it more marketable than the perfect non-upgraded version.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens allow you to reroll an acquired item like armor, weapon or ring. The item is swapped for another of the same type, with a different set of extra bonuses.
