The Freo X Ultra is a well-rounded robot mop and vacuum that's incredibly smart in both its vacuuming and mopping capabilities. Its design is one of the best in the industry however, it's costly.

Its base station looks good and hides it when not in use, and its size is quite compact. But the station's main selling point is how it automates many tasks and functions that other robots leave to you. It can store dirty and clean water and electrolyze and heat the water. The majority of other robots require this.

Its vacuuming capabilities are impressive, too. It's the only robovac I've used that has done an excellent job of removing dirt from floors that aren't. It's also not as loud as the more expensive Roomba 900 series or iRobot 980.

The Freo X Ultra is not free of faults, especially in the area of navigation. Its LiDAR and laser sensors aren't as reliable and reliable as other robovacs. This means it can get stuck or confused in certain rooms or corners of the home. It's not able to navigate stairs as well as some competitors, and doesn't come with an dock that allows you to set up a dedicated cleaning zone for carpets with plush padding.

The elegant G30 isn't without faults however. The iRobot Roomba is built better and has lower cost of operation. It is faster to charge, has the same battery life and is more effective on bare carpet or floors with low pile. It has a bigger dust bin that doesn't require more emptying. It also comes with boundary strips that keep it from certain areas. The G30 is, on the other hand, is more affordable robot vacuum and is much more manageable to maintain. Its smaller dust canister doesn't require as frequent emptying and it has less trouble with bulky materials such as cereal.
